It's safe to assume that the game is getting closer to being done... what else do we need to know? When it's completed, they'll let us know. They have lives and jobs and priorities outside of this project and I respect that. I am thrilled with simply knowing that the game is going to be completed eventually.

Correct me if I'm wrong but I thought that VU wanted you to change the name to The Silver Lining. Doesn't that include the website? And if you were gonna change it up it's been a long time coming. I don't mind waiting I just don't want you guys to get in trouble again. And I love Says stuff to...

Will we be notified through E-mail or SMS that the First Part of KQ9 is complete and ready for Download, or will you tell us the day its complete and ready for Download.

My geuss would be, the day that the KQ Compilation gets released, thats the day KQ9 will be realeased.

Everyone subscribed to the Newsletter will be notified through e-mail, so if you aren't signed up already, do so now!   And of course, that news will be plastered all over the Internet.

But keep in mind that once the game is complete, it'll still have to go through Vivendi.  So, we won't be able to countdown to any exact release date until after they approve the game.

Which they'll probably change it a lot and by the time VU ''approves'' it it wont be even remotely like King's Quest anymore.

They did that for the count-down to the announcement of the release date. Boy did that get lots of people hyped up!

Hey ya'll! I'm new to the boards, but I have been watching this project since last year. It crushed me when I heard kq9 had to be shut down as I am a long time kq fan. Then when I discovered we are back up it literally made my year!! I am eagerly awaiting The Silver Lining and the kq compilation!! My guess is a co-release of both projects.

First off I would like to say congratulations on all your efforts, for this project, for KQ, for the fans, and for future fan made games. They’re greatly appreciated.

I’ve been keeping an eye on this site for about a year now and have been very impressed with your work and was very disappointed with the C&D order and am proud to say I too contributed to the SaveKQIX petition. Though I’m not to sure how much it counted since you were already working things out with Vivendi one week after the C&D. It was still worth the effort and I would also like to thank the people organizing those petition and the fans that contributed. 

I know many fans have waited much longer then I but I’m happy to wait. I know you have a LOT on your plate (much more then you ever bargained for what with the lawsuit.) the legal terms you’re still working out, the new name and thus changing your intro I imagine, the new web site, finishing this chapter, and of course having Vivendi “review” it.

Keep up the good work.

The game might be ported to Mac & Unix versions in the future, but our primary focus right now is on developing the Windows version.

It was due to my dad installing an add-on for Mozilla Firefox.  Sorry to cause you any trouble.

I really can't wait for Silver Lining to come out.For now i've started playing all the old ones to get myself ready.....on a side note how do you download those pictures you have next to your names....I'm new to this...as if you couldn't tell...
