koko_99_2001

Welcome Marshall. :) I'll just quickly answer your question, and I'm sure one of the team members who are closer to the project will be able to give you more information. Right now, there is no official release date for Part 1. I know we all would hope it's soon, but as of yet, the team has not announced anything. :)

Dang!

I logged on to the site this morning and found that all the forums
were down.

I was hoping this ment that the VUG negotiations were over and
the site was being updated.

Guess it was just some glitch.

Yes, it was just a server malfunction. :P

Just to let everyone know in advance, there may be a few more site errors next week as we'll be switching web hosting providers. :)

Does that mean you'll be revamping the site next week? *is hopeful* ::)

QuoteWill we be notified through E-mail :) or SMS :P that the First Part of KQ9 is complete and ready for Download, or will you tell us the day its complete and ready for Download. ;D

;D Put a Timer above the Fourm Board to let us know how many days and hours for the Game to be released.

My geuss would be, the day that the KQ Compilation gets released, thats the day KQ9 will be realeased. :suffer:
WIth the stupid date on the compilation, that could mean TSL could never come out.

I thought I posted something here, and now it's gone... Does it have anything to do with the forums being down? I posted about Cat and her "secret Plans" and I remember getting a response that I was too paranoid. But now all traces of that have vanished from existence itself. Can anyone please help me? :'(

Ok guys I have just a couple more questions (I hope this is the right thread)

Ok my first one is.
For TSL what form of artwork will you be using? Will you be using the cartoonish fantasy style that they used in KQ7 Or more of a realistic style that they used in kq 5 & 6?

And my other question was.
Which form of moving will you use again wiill you use the magic wand that they used in KQ7? Or the Hand cursor Talk cursor ect.

Thanks again for your time!

koko_99_2001

Hey again Marshall. To answer your questions:

1. We're using a more realistic style. You can see examples of the artwork on Deviant Art: here.

2. For moving, the hand/talk cursor is being used.

Maybe another team member can elaborate more, if need be :)

Which Torgue Game Engine --- Indie or Commercial

Commercial supports:

Windows 95/98/SE/ME/2000/XP
Pentium III 500, 128 MB RAM
OpenGL or DirectX Compatible 3D Graphics Accelerator, DirectX compatible Soundcard

Indie supports:

Windows 98/SE/ME/2000/XP
Pentium III 500, 128 MB RAM
OpenGL or DirectX Compatible 3D Graphics Accelerator, DirectX compatible Soundcard

Also I noticied Indie is $100 and Commercial is $495.

The engine is actually the same for both licenses.  But if you're asking whether or not the game will work on Win95, it won't. :P

According to what I'm reading regarding pro version, seems supporting Window 95.

If pro version support Windows 95 then how can engine be actually same for both license? I'm sure windows 95 users would certainly like some clarifications here.
