Trolls annoy me. -_- The point is, there obviously IS a game, a game with the highest quality of work and dedication that a no-budget team can have. Actually, I think the team is more dedicated than most would've thought possible. :P They said winter, not December. We've only been in Spring for a month and they lost more time than that with Vivendi.

Thanks. When anyone disses King's Quest I get a little crazy. (For a good reason!)

Who wouldn't? Don't mention it! I try to help out here as much as I can! If I had to wait another decade, I would! That's how dedicated to this project I am! (Even though I don't work on it! XD)

I'm in a bad mood right now (because of a certain "friend" who insists on proving that she's better than everyone,) so I'd suggest trolls beware, or feel my wrath. ;P

Note: I just noticed that if you press Ctrl+Z, you can undo stuff, just like in Word!! XD

Hope you feel better soon....

And if the "friend" keeps doing that....

I know many people like that! There's a girl who wants me to go  :stabs: myself! She's horrible!

She'll insist that computer games are inutile and that I'm otiose for taking pride in beating them.

She just uses big words to make herself sound so smart and calls herself "sagacious." She's just not. She's burning bridges she hasn't even crossed yet, and that's anything but wise. The sad thing is, no matter how many times she insults my character, says I'm useless, refuses to listen to what I have to say, believes rumors, and makes me cry, I still forgive her with a half-sincere apology. -_-

But back on topic, um....TSL rules! :P

Come on !! the "shut down"  and negociations , took about a month or so ,  we have been waiting around a year ,  So what it comes to my mind is, when Vivendi told you guys that there was not going to be any game , you threw all the work you have done or what???

Rosella

You have been warned. ;P

FYI, the project was cancelled September 30th. November 29th was the day POS was allowed to continue. Two months that they could've worked on the game were used to get the game back in production. Of course we've been waiting about a year. Do you think people just create a game of THIS caliber in a week? Are you telling me that you can't think of a game that took more than a year to make? At the very least, the release date would be pushed back 2 months, but since Vivendi has to review it, it'll take longer. Deal with it! If you spent more time supporting the team instead of making pointless accusations, maybe it would be done faster. I'd like to see you make a KQ9 and see how that turns out.

I'm going to reply and not for our new poster over there that apparently has got plenty of time, but for our forum friends.

The more exposure we get the more random posters and amusing comments you'll read. For those who have been here for a while, and know us, and have even worked with us at different levels yet still support us, do know the truth. There is no point for you explain yourself over and over or let alone get mad at wild guesses. I've been extremely busy myself at work these couple of weeks and the few minutes I've got of my personal agenda are just to commit to work, personal life? I've given that up for a while, apparently.

Sadly as it's widely known, we all have real jobs because POS is not financing TSL, why? because it's owned by VU, we've been lucky enough to have achieved this outcome so far, so we're making the best of it. The negotiations with VU are SLOW, there's still some minor details going on between our lawyer and VU law department, due to there are things that are beyond common sense and obviously we need real aid, thankfully everything is going on alright. Time is not our own anymore, on top of everything.

We do not have time of our own for this, we stay up for days working, we don't have weekends, but do understand for anyone who is working/studying, the time for you to be able to sit down in front of the computer and get what you must variates to probably 3 hours to 6 hours a day. Cesar and I, can clearly claim we both take about 5 to 6 hours in a day, we wake up first thing we do is check emails, contact staff, check whatever we must for the day and then get to OUR schedule, wether is organizing or just sitting down and DOING things. I know for a fact one of the most dedicated on this team is Cesar, he practically has no life of his own. He has worked with ME on research, on PR development and whatever I might need help with. He also gives Rich a hand BIG time, with animation, scheduling, 2D and sometimes 3D, and he does help in all the other departments just as well. There are days that he's totally into animations,  or composing music, or just giving me a hand at PR himself.

So, it's ridiculous to believe anyone would be gullible enough to believe such lie or let alone do it. Those who are eager enough to spend their time like that is because they would be capable of doing something like that. I speak for myself when I let you all know I work 10 hours a day, I'm a manager at an international company, I don't have time for absolutly anything, I get home at 9 pm and I try to get around MY things 3 to 4 hours DAILY, then on weekends I'm glued to the computer as well most of Saturday and Sunday working about 7 to 8 hours. So I'm on my lunch break now and I read that and I can't particularly believe the time some have to even gossip or just waste time being negative just because.

Also, it doesn't matter if all the directors give up their lives, we're nothing without our assistants who happen to have as much  load of responsabilities, Neil for example. He has stayed up with me up till 3 am many times just working nonstop till we manage to finish so we can move on with our schedule. And yes, we're not getting paid by it, we're passion driven here. So obviously, we wish we had more time, but sadly we have to work, we have to go to the doctor or sleep and eat sometimes. Things are not entirely up to us, we have staff who happens to be in the SAME condition as us, plenty with just as many activities as us and even so we try to make the BEST out of it.

I'm not going to try to convince anyone of anything, whoever who wants to be with us and support us is just more than welcome here, TSL is an amazing fan community: friendly people, down to earth, honest and obviously extremely committed and loving. For those who fail to 'believe' or want to just come around with negative expectations due to frustration or whatever, please, keep it friendly because whoever who won't play fair (aka offend and insult people around) will get banned, and for those who simply have nothing better to do you will be quite lucky if you have Rosella or any of our other cool forum friends around here to give you a proper reply, because my staff and myself are obviously not available for games.

For those who have been quite nice and friendly to keep replying and try to set the record straight, kuddos to you, you're more than just appreciated by us. It means a lot to us that you love us and support us this much and we work FOR YOU, for those who care and will give us this amazing suppor that -no matter what- life has put in our way we happen to continue and even stronger.

I love you guys, sorry for the long rant. I felt like doing it.

Hey, I do long rants all the time! I'm happy to be a part of this community, becuase I'm always welcome here. No one really thinks any less of anyone here, because their all nice. That's why I love this community. The developers actually go on the forum when they can, and as far as I know, not many other company's do that! TSL is a project that was blessed by an angel. It did the impossible, which was convince a corporate entity to give very dedicated fans their IP. POS is the very definition of ambitious and dedicated! Every single person I know who works on the project, no matter what the posistion is, whether it be Moderator, or director, is extremely dedicated, and tries to tackle their everyday problems and schedules as well as work on this, which is quite amazing! I don't even know if I could do that! I have school to go to on weekdays, and then I have to go to Sudbury Farms and bag groceries for usually five hours or three hours. My breaks are minimal, like fifteen minutes, and if I'm lucky, a half-hour lunch break. If I was working on this project, I would try to put as much of my heart and soul as I could into it! POS is not a bunch of corporate people being paid for their work. They are the opposite. They are fans, extremely dedicated to their task, driven by passion and dedication, driven by the love of an astounding series, not money. And some of the designers have never even played a King's Quest game!

This one goes out to Say.  All I have to say is that all your hard work and dedication has been much appreciated.  I am relatively knew here (only posting for about two months now...).  However, I feel like it is a big family here.  I continually see the same people, and it is nice to have a group of people that I view as friends, albeit in digital format. I have been playing KQ for over two decades and welcome the next chapter in the saga.  Thank you so much Say for everything and I wish I could help out with everything, but I don't have any artistic or programming skills.  Please accept my gratitude in the form of kind words and if you have any suggestions, please let me know.  The whole team is the greatest for giving up all you time like this.

Thank you guys, remember I'm not the only working monkey here! There are SO many, and as I said, amazing is how Cesar after all he has to do he still finds the time to sit down with you and just work around anything that he could give a hand for. I wish my real boss would be just as good as he is.

We need great people working with us but we also need the fans, the fans were the ones that gave us a BIG lead with VU negotiations, so yes, you're the better half of POS ;) You help by being around, supporting us, and most important of all by being as cool as you guys are <3

The sad thing is now with VU in control nothing really seems to be happening at least as far as the fans can see it.  The website journal used to be updated frequently and this website was updated with lots of stuff all the time.  Unfortunately, now that VU runs the show everything seems to be on hold as far as the fans can see.  Keep up the good work, POS and let us the fans know if there is any way that we can push VU to let you have more control.
