my Persian cat died, new kitten

Hi, in case yall didn't know, I am a cat lover. I also like dogs and birds, but cats are quieter than dogs and cleaner, they use a litter box and you don't have to walk them. I had a skinny, sickly little gray and white Persian cat named Crissy, she was sweet and cuddly, but the poor little thing died on tuesday the 20th of this month, I was very sad and I missed her a lot. She had trouble breathing becasue of her flat Persian face and tiny nose. Now she is in cat heaven, I believe animals can go to heaven when they die, and since she was sweet I'm sure she's happy in her feline afterlife. I miss my Crissy though.

Good news, today I went to look at some kittens. My parents and I went to a lady's house who had a mama cat and some kttens. We were afraid they might have worms though, since the lady said the mama cat had worms but she was treated and cured for them. Then we went to the cat depot, a place with lots and lots of cats for people to adopt. They had a lot of black cats, my mom does not like black cats, she thinks they're ugly. There were to calico sisters, kittens about 6 months of age. They're already on their way to reaching full size. I got one of the calico kittens, calicos are almost always female. My new calico cat has a mostly black face with some white at the chin and a tan/orange streak down her nose and a tan/oragne streak off to the side of her face. She has a white neck and chest, her belly is white. Her legs are white too, except one that is black. She has a mottled orange and black back. She is pretty. They named her Mimosa at the cat shelter, but we decided to call her Missy. I wanted to call her Mirabelle, but my parents  like the name Missy. Mirabelle might be too long of a name. Maybe I'll save it for a character in my stories. Missy rhymes with Crissy and is kind of a cute name. She's cute, and so playful! My other cat, Crissy, was scared when we first got her and hid under my parents bed, my Persian was shy and not that active. Missy does not seem to be scared and she has been running around the house exploring everything she can reach. She rubbed up against me and hopped up behind me in the computer chair, I petted her of course. I can tell she is going to be a good pet. She is cute, playful and sweet and pretty. I still think about my gray and white Persian cat that died, I had her for 7 years. I was hoping she'd live to be old but she was not a healthy cat. The calico, Missy, seems much healthier. So for those of you who are cat lovers, meoww, meow, meow, purrrrpurrr, from me and Missy!!!

i'm really sorry that your cat died.  you still have all of the memories that you had with her and she's always there with you.

i'm glad that you got another cat.  i hope that you like her as much as it seems thta you liked crissy.

Sorry about Crissy. I'm sure she'll meet my old cat Smokey up in cat heaven. Smokey wasn't very active or anything so I think that she and Crissy will get along well. I hope that you and Missy have great fun together.

Thanks guys. Missy is very different from Crissy. She is very active. Right now she is sitting in the windowsill. She's very curious. She's still a kitten, she's about 6 months old. I have bonded with her and I just love her, she loves me as well. She sleeps on my bed with me and is sweet. She likes to be petted and likes to play. I know crissy is in cat heaven, she was a sweet old cat. At least she is not in pain and is happy in the afterlife. I'll always remember her.

Before she died Crissy did something cute, she laid down underneath our Christmas tree, and my mom took pictures of her underneath the tree. I'm glad we have those pictures of her.

Missy is quite a rascal, she gets into everything, and her litter box really stinks after she uses it. She climbed up on my computer desk, wanting attention from me. I love her, she's cute and it's fun to watch her play.
