KQ Titles

Forgive me for my poor knowlege of English idioums, but I'd like to ask:
Some of the KQ's have titles based on idioums - 3, 5, 6, 7 (in the case of 7, a movie title).
Do the rest also have similar basis I'm ignorant of? (not MoE, of course)

Well KQ2 I assumed was always based on the title of the movie Romancing the Stones, and KQ1, well I think they added the Quest for the Crown title in later releases of the game.  As for the rest as you said, I think they were all based on famous sayings.

I didn't know that movie was that well-known! Besides, in my country it had a different name, that loosely translates to "After the romantic treature".

Still, what about KQ4? I couldn't find that one out

King's Quest IV was named after an old television series, "The Perils of Pauline". It usually involved the heroine, Pauline, getting caught up in all sorts of dangerous activities. In fact, the familiar (at least in the states) image of a screaming woman tied to a railroad track came from one of the episodes. (this is only what I've been told, anyway.)
