Thank you. :D The basilisk can be found everywhere in the city, though most often on fountains. :)

There are some other sights and buildings which are quite stunning, but I can't find them on Google, so I shall have to take them myself and continue spamming this thread (possibly sometime this weekend). :D

The only one of note in this half of the canton is Ebenrain. Though the URL ruins it. :P

:jealous: The architecture is so much richer than anything around here... stuff around where I live feels very practical and cookie-cutter. :(

Regrettably most things in the US are. Which is why I like Europe so much better. That and the fact that they keep their old buildings and not bulldoze them to build something new. Like when they were going to tare down the Belleview Biltmore Hotel, one of the largest wooden buildings, for no reason and build a new Hotel.

Thankfully the people picked the place and finally got it put on the Historic Places Registry so it can't be torn down.

Duke of Lancaster of Queen Deloria since 09-Sept-06

Does anybody even remember who Wormy is?

Actually, after I posted that, I remembered there are a few little odd pieces around Tech I should take pictures of to show you guys (some sculptures here and there, nothing much or nearly as exciting as the basilisks and castles... more amusingly out of place).

Most welcome. :D Yes, you seem to have seen more castles than even I, so it hardly comes as a surprise that this one is not new to you. :P Still, the Black Forest does have some lovely architecture. :D

*likes the picture* ...however, when milady takes up residence... I hope she'll do something about the facility below... *finds it unsightly* *would have a new one built elsewhere (or underground... we can do that on a whim now, right?) and demolish that one to be replaced with greenery* :D

Yes, I was thinking it could be replaced by some lovely French-baroque rose-gardens. :D And of course it must be moved underground.
