Cez

Interesting...

Cesar runs away. He needs to finish the game plot, he can't play. Cesar tries to restrain himself to write a line. Cesar wants to write here.

Cesar runs away, leaving it all behind

how sad.

GOOD!!! readers!!!  ;D

(Notice - in case of contradicting posts, I will refer to the latter as true, hence - Moranas stays with the group instead of going to Falderal. I think he wouldn't like it there anyway)

The amazed group looked at Sharlie's back as she walked away with Bloody after her.

"Did she just cast some kind of love spell on him?" asked Sarah "because I couldn't really tell the difference... "

"I guess she was talented with magic" said Ceres "but why would she do something like that?"

Attis noded "she might be dangerous, casting spells thoughtlessly like that"

"You mean, more dangerous than him?" Sarah pointed at Moranas, who was scowling again, obviously not pleased with another menifestaion of magic.

"We'll have to watch out for her. She looked to me like she was plotting something" said Ceres. Recent events in Etheria made her more apprehensive about strangers, praticularly ones who used magic, and one a day was enought.

"Good riddance to bad rubbish, says I" said Moranas "the last thing I need here is yet another witch, and that little guy was starting to get on my nerves".
"Never argue with idiots. They'll drag you down to their level and beat you with experience."

Sharlie walked away from the group of strange people she had just encountered, silently plotting her next moves.

"How boring" she tought "It's a good thing I left. The next thing they would start asking ME questions, and that energy-ball-throwing guy and make-plants-grow girl look powerful enough to make me go back to that old nag Crispin, back to doing manual labor, like I'm some kind of slave"

Her thoughts were interrupted by Bloody, who was constently prancing around her, trying to hug her.

"You're the most beautiful creature I ever did see! you're the sun in my sky, the star in my heavens, the worm in my ground, the gold in my pouch, the heels on my shoes... "

"Oh do shut up!" Sharlie shouted eventually, shaking him off her leg "can't you see I'm plotting here?"

"Of course, my queen! my empress! I shall obey your every command! I shall be as quite as a fish, as silent as a warthog, as still as a... "

"Whatever! just wait till I think of a spell to make you mute as well!" Sharlie said impatiently. She was finally away from sight, free to practice her magic without supervision, and she was going to make the most of it.

She kept on going untill she reached a beautiful river at the edge of the forest, crossed by a rainbow bridge. By the river were two gleaming-white statues of maidens, one holding a pitcher and the other a cornucopia. The sight was awsome, but was caught her eye was a cave entrence in the moutains that bordered the forest.

Far above the lands of Daventry, a plump little bird was surveying the ground below as he flew. It was Cedric, Crispin's pet. Chrispin was at a conference at the court of Daventry and had left the little owl to keep an eye on Shalie....... ::)
Serenian weather had been too sunny and sleepy, and the devoted watchman of Shalie, had closed his eyes once to often.
Now.........
He huffed and puffed and ran out of breath while he frantically used his old wings to find the missing maiden.
"Ohhh!! Chrispin will never forgive me for this!!!!! :'( :'( :'("

On he flew half asleep into the sky...so blue, when...
SNAP!!!!!
Something had swallowed him!!!!!

(Poor Cedric! Is this the end??? :'()

"Dragons!" Moranas sneered as he glanced at Sarah's book "a few of them have met the pointy end of my sword. None of THEM will help you against that witch".

Sarah turned to him, her train of thought cut short "what would you suggest then?"

"I suggest you let me handle it. I am perfectly capable, and more than willing to dispach that witch for you" Moranas smiled "If the price is right, of course"

"You would work for me? for a witch?" Sarah replied, merely to taunt him.

"Why ever not? your gold is the same color as anyone else's, isn't it?"

"Actually, I have no gold, and I don't believe Attis and Ceres have any either. Plus, I don't need your help, and even if I did, I wouldn't ask for it if you were the last... well, whatever it is that you are"

"Mercenary" said Moranas "and you shouldn't involve your personal feelings here. It's bad for business, my business in particular. And if you have no money, maybe there are other ways you can, ahem, make it up to me?"

"You're DISGUSTING! who do you think you are? I'm warning you... " exclaimed Sarah.

Moranas Smiled "I only meant that maybe you can use that magic of yours to get me out of here, perhaps to a place more sane than that Falderal"

Shalie and Bloody had come to a quiet cemetary. It was a new installation in the woods near Faulderal (well, even talking animals don't live for ever!).
Shalie sat down on one of the gravestones. She felt lonely and needed to think. Silently plotting the destruction of others was not so pleasant after all!! She knew evil was in her blood, but there were times when she hated it...and now she was unhappy......and cold....and hungry, and far away from a warm bed!
She looked at Bloody, but he was silent....in ever sickening adoration of her! :P

Suddenly, she felt sorry for him! Poor little guy! So lonely, so helplessly in her clutches. So cheerful, and despised by people! Her motherly instincs took over and she leaned over and hugged him!!! :-X

So hard...the poor little guy turned purple.
"HEY, not sooo hard!!! LEEE Goooooo!!!!!!!!, let GOOO.....UWWwwWWW!!!!!"

(Bloody, it's mummy, not mommy, which is a child's word for mother. Hey, you're not the only one who mispells. English is a tough language.)

Sarah thought about Moranos' offer. She doubted his intentions, but knew she would need the aid of a warrior to survive in this realm. She looked at her spellbook again, and noticed the title for the first time since casting her teleporting spell, "The Universe of Magic; how Worlds are Connected and Balanced." The title seemed to perfectly fit the mission that the book had brought to her.

"Alright, as soon as I figure out a map of this world, I'll send you to the city of your choice." She promised Moranos.

"It's a deal. And you better not try to double cross me. I don't fear your flimsy magic." Moranos warned.

"I never double cross people. I have got to stop this evil...relative of mine...whoever she is. I think she's a sister I had in a past life."

"Perhaps we should go to Etheria and seek the advice of the fairies and the three fates. The fates are very wise, and they might have the perfect solution to our problems." Ceres adviced.

"But how can we get to Etheria? Didn't you say it was in the clouds?" Sarah wondered.

"Lady Valanice crossed the wood of the werefolk and went to Ooga-Booga land, where she borrowed Lord Tsepish' magic horse and road to Etheria on his back." Lord Attis told her, "but it is too dangerous to re-enter the wood of the werefolk, we'll have to find some other way to get to Etheria."

"It seems like the only way there is to fly." Sarah said.

"Got any flying spells?" Moranos demanded.
