Your opinion about Rosella

Rosella's not ditzy. I'm ditzy, but Rosella's not. I think Rosella's main goal in life is to prove that she's not just some dumb blonde and she wants danger so she can prove that she's not a stereotypical princess that needs to be saved all of the time.

I, on the other hand, want danger so I can be pitiful and have some guy save me.

Back in the Middle Ages, blondes were very rare, and blonde people were thought to be very beautiful, they were considered gods or angels. Golden hair was coveted greatly. A golden haired princess was thought to be a very desired beauty. A good question is if Valanice has auburn hair, and Graham's hair is black, how did Rosella end up with blond hair? Perhaps she has a blond grandmother? Sometimes kids inherit genes from the grandparents, and look like them.

You can't inherit genes from your grandparents. One grandparent on each side would have to give one blonde trait to Graham and Valanice, respectively. They would also get one black and one brown trait, respectively. The dark hair would be dominant and the blonde would be recessive. Rosella would have a 25% chance of being blonde (which would only happen if she got both blonde traits from her parents,) and she, obviously, did. Blonde is a rare hair color because, as I said before, it's a recessive trait that can be easily covered if the person also has a darker hair trait. Er...*paid too much attention in life science*

And about blondes being beautiful, I don't think it's as much about the hair color as it is about the hair texture and stuff.
