Are you guys hiring voice actors or are you going to do it, and, if someone here had enough money, would they buy the rights to the King's Quest series (that one was for pretty much everyone here...)?...

well I'll reply it anyways, about the voice actors I guess we eventually would be needing them, seems obvious but when I don't know and how are we gonna get them I have no idea either, maybe Cesar might ask for them over here and yeah maybe some of the team would act some voices

About the rights, well.... sounds like a dream!! ;DI don't think if we all gathered all our money (like we got so much lol) and our hopes we could buy it, I don't think Sierra would like to sell it either I guess? it's a tricky topic I would leave it open to many people come and say something about it here, I would think we couldn't afford such thing neither than sierra would like to sell that.

Nothing has been confirmed yet since we don't plan on doing any major voice recordings until we have a fully completed script. One of our members knows a troup of theatre actors who would be interested in doing the voices for the game. If this happens then we'll probably do the voice recordings somewhere around New York either in a make shift recording studio or in a professional one if we can work out some sort of deal, we'll have to see. If this is the case and you are in that part of the country and could actually make it to the recording sessions, then we could possibly audition you. But voice acting is not at the top of the priority list at the moment.

As for the rights to KQ, well that is something that would have to be discussed but I doubt Sierra would let it go for a low price.

So is it possible that sierra might sell it? maybe in a future and I don't mean us particulary, but another company/individually could buy it? just like that??

Maybe. This isn't the Sierra we all know and love anymore. I don't know how the management is today but in recent years if it was a good business deal and they could make a lot of money, they probably would have done it.

well, a new Gabriel Knight 4 seems to be coming. We still don't know if it's Sierra's or somebody else's but Jane Jensen already sent a post to the GK community asking what engine would you like to see in it.

I only played GK 1, and I didn't think the demo for GK 3 was all that impressive but I heard the real game was awesome, so here is to Jane, hope it works out.

I had no idea about that Ben, Sierra close to ruin stuff, well is sad.... I have played halflife... and so other "new" games from sierra and I think they're not so bad at all.
But I guess you're right when you say that they won't sell something that has been such a big hit for them and they might continue it someday or something
