satan_98909:
If you dont have anyone to talk Graham you could ask the guy that talked him in KQ5 because Tierra asked for him in their remakes and he did the voice of Graham for them!

MangoMercury:
Heh...

...  NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!  In my opinion

BoardnationArchive

cat team leader:
Why not?

Bunny Commander:
think the KQ community at large is torn on the issue of Josh Mandel as King Graham. He did the voice for so many of the games, people are like, he IS King Graham!

On the other hand, he wasn't an actor, he was just working for Sierra, and I'll admit it kinda shows. His isn't quite the most impassioned work I've ever heard.

I'm more a fan of our open auditions idea; if he shows up for it and gets it fair and square, then good for him. If not, then oh well. I don't want to have a huge part handed out just because he's done the voice before. I want the best voice for the part!

And that's probably how it's going to be. No presents.

I think I said it once and I'll say it again: Josh Mandel will NOT play King's Quest IX's Graham's voice. I'll keep the reasons.

Not even if he's the best one for that part at the audition?

The Knight:
Josh Mandel IS King Graham!  No one else.
And as cat team leader said, what if Josh is the best one?

BoardnationArchive

Bunny Commander:
One, he'd have to show up at said auditions. Personally I have no idea where he even lives.

Two: "Josh Mandel IS King Graham!  No one else."

To quote The Princess Bride, "Nonsense. You're only saying that because no ever has." ...been the voice of King Graham that is.  Doesn't mean he's the best for the job.

Somewhere in the Schenectady, NY area, unless he's moved in the past year and a half or so.

And if all of us rejects who can drive down to NYC get to audition, he should get to audition as well, if he wants to.  May the best man (or masculine-voiced woman ) win!

The Knight:
Everytime I've watched the ending to KQ6, All the voices, except Rosella's, are perfect, IMO.  King Graham sounds so perfect.

The Knight:
I would thikn they asked Josh, and he didn't want to do it.  But if the KQ IX team doesn't want him to do King Graham.  Why did they ask him?

I have absolutely noidea where that is.

Ahem, if there weren't any houses in my way, and I could drive in a straight line to NYC, methinks I'd have to have some extra tanks of gas and a car that can also float and proper itself through water. Oh, and let's not forget lots of time and food & water (salty water isn't exactly good).

You don't have to... that was more for Katie's benefit.  But if you're wondering... New York City (NYC) is near the bottom of New York (NY), while the Schenectady area is in sort of the upper middle. It's probably about a 2 to 3-ish hour drive, I think.

Oops. More semantic problems. I meant "can" as in the conditional, as in "all of us rejects who are able to drive". Although I probably should have further amended that to "all of us rejects who are able to get to NYC via bus, car, plane, train, boat, or mysterious swamp monster".
