The demo was loads of fun (albeit very brief). :)

The scenary is beyond gorgeous, and really left the entire castle and Island of the Crown with a sort of mystical quality. The sudden bursts of lightning were dramatic (if you can believe it, I even jumped when the tree fell). A beautiful tribute to a timeless series.

Thanks much, Team, and I look forward to future releases! :)

And, of course, I didn't notice that there was an entire board devoted to discussion of the Demo. Any moderator may move this thread there. :)

I have to admit it was a tad short as well.  but my god did I get all the good feelings back when i saw the land of the green isle.  KQ6 was my favorite out of the series and I am glad that they choose there to start The Silver Lining off.

Thanks for bringing back my childhood. I was getting way to serious in the corporate world for a second there

AWESOME WORK GUYS!!!!!!!

Awww. :)  I'm glad to see our game has brought back the nostalgic feelings you once had for these games.  This project does the same for all of us on this team, which is why we enjoy working day in and day out on this game, and will not stop until it gets completed. 8)

OK...I'm a little slow here.  At 35 this is my first post ever anywhere so bear with me.   :)  I don't know what to do with half these buttons...but I think I'll push a few to see what happens. ;)

I loved the demo once I got it to work, then I played it like 10 times trying to get past the part where you travel on the boat.  I thought it was my computer!  LOL  (I told you I was slow.)  Anyhow, I just want to thank the people who have worked so hard to bring this series back, if only for one last go-round.  I read the post from Uriel and she inspired me to make my first-ever post.  Ditto on all she said...I grew up on the series, and playing the demo really took me back in time, before the days of the Internet and "hints and cheats" and all that.  Just the plain old save-as-you-go method, goofing up along the way and having to go back to fix it all.   :wall:  (Those were the days!)

When my husband was in med school, the last KQ came out, and even though it was very, very different from the others, it was my saving grace during his all-nighters.  It was a pleasant distraction, and I looked forward to the next "Quest."  Obviously, that never came, but when I heard you all had started it up again, I was thrilled.  I've been following your site for years and admire your strength and tenacity throughout your struggles to give this series the finality it deserves.  I've played the demo, and it is just BEAUTIFUL.  I love the art, text, voices, animation, graphics...just everything.  You all are so talented, and to coordinate it all from so many parts of the world is just amazing.  I am so grateful to you all for this labor of love.  I look forward to the next installment.  I know you've said you can't take any money for your work, but if any of you are ever in Texas, let me know.  I'll show you some Southern hospitality and make you a real nice meal, just to say "Thanks."   ;)

P.S.  I sure hope these smiley-guys all show up, especially this one   ::)   I'm not sure what it means, but it's awfully cute!

That was a nice speech.  :)  I tried to make one myself, but I rapidly found out I can't write that kind of thing without sounding silly. I'm sure the team greatly apprecitates it.  :)

You move up from Wizards slave when you make 50 posts. There is a newcomers introduction thread around someplace if you want to stay around long enough to try.

If you hold the cursor under the similes it will say what they mean.  And enjoy the buttons, just so you don't hit the report to moderator one.  ;D
