Well I was trying to find the name of the ruin castle(?) that I used to live by in Germany and ran across this.

http://www.roadstoruins.com/

I though my Queen, Petra and a few others might find it interesting.

Still haven't found it's name yet but I'm still looking.

Does anyone know if they used an actual German castle in Gabriel Knight 2?

I think so, I forget the name of it though

Neuschwanstein. :P It's in Bavaria and was built by Ludwig II, who also built Linderhof and added to Herrenchiemsee and has very nice Baroque interiors. :P

Indeed. :D

Most of the themes are mythological and Wagnerian, especially focusing on the Knights of the Swan and the Order of the Fleece and the Ludwigsorden (having been a knight of both orders of chivalry). :) The throne room is Byzantine in style anyway and there is indeed a grotto. :P

You can take quite a nice tour of it here. :)
