No.. yes.. it probably is, but I hope it isn't. I hope the summer goes away.. like now.. and never comes back. Go away allergies, go away heat.. grr.. It's intolerable.

How does one stab the sun, is such a thing possible?

Yes... for this you will need 1X massive, enormous blade-shaped space craft (Star Wars and other sci-fis provide numerous examples), 1X sun, and 1X great deal of free time. Now, orient the bladed spacecraft correctly, set it to ram the sun so that it will enter free fall towards the sun (ie- not whip around it due to gravity and angular momentum), get to the escape pods long before contact with the sun, jettison, and watch your really expensive and time-consuming to construct spacecraft ram the sun. Congratulations... unless the space craft was carrying some really impressive stuff for dealing with the sun, this has accomplished nothing (though with the right equipment, you could get some really cool pictures of the sun mid-stab).
