The following video cards are unsupported by TSL.  If your video card is listed here, TSL may run abnormly slow or not at all and may exhibit strange behavior like locking up or crash at random.

Please be aware that we cannot provide technical support for TSL being run on any of these video cards.

We encourage those individuals who are using one of the below video cards to upgrade to either an NVIDIA 5200FX (or better) or an ATI Radeon 8500 (or better) in order to enjoy TSL.

Also, if your video card is integrated with your motherboard, chances are it will be unsupported as well, since those kinds of cards aren't designed to handle 3D applications. :)

Yup... the first 4 entries under the section "Other Video Cards / Solutions" lists the integrated graphics controllers that are currently in mass circulation.  :)

So my video card is a Radeon 9200 SE and everytime I try to run the demo it tells me that the video card will not initialize.  What's going on here?  I downloaded everything I needed to.
Although, when I tried to instal the patch, it said there were corrupted files.  How do I avoid this?

In regards to your video card not initializing, update your video card drivers (visit ATI's website) and try to run the demo again.

As for the corrupted files in the patch, re-download the patch.  If your using a download accelerator like GetRight, disable it when you download the patch.

I once run the TSL  demo in the computer of a friend´s; it was impressive and wonderful. When I tried to run it on my computer it didn´t work. I have an ATI Radeon 9200 too, and I have the same problem as Dawson in Chains. Besides, the same thing happens when I try to run the Torque Game Engine Demo version 1.4. I downloaded Version 5.1; curiously, this program supports my card and runs perfectly. The point is that I once read in this forum that The Silver Lining was made with Torque Game Engine. I would appreciate If you please tell me what version of Torque was used to make this game. Was it version 1.4 or 1.5?

Thank you for your time.

Petter Holmberg

Version 1.3 for the demo. We currently use version 1.4, and if possible we will upgrade to 1.5.
