Heh, I think it got below that here in Western MA. I was at a church social function, and there was a lunar eclipse going on. Everyone wanted to watch, but it was damn cold, so everyone kept ducking in and outside almost the whole time. <G>

I actually got a nice view of the lunar eclipse, as I was standing at Virginia Beach right near the actual ocean. Beautiful! ;D I stood out there for 15 minutes with my friend's camera, and got some nice pictures. :)

I've also seen the eclipse.  ;D
It wasn't too cold so I was sitting outside and waiting for it to go total, but right before it did a cloud came up and covered the moon. Just my luck  :P

Darn. Well at least you got to see most of it! It wasn't a complete eclipse over here, but it got dang close. :D

I solemnly promise I am wearing clothes, Yonkey.

I am at work after all.

Funny story - I went to some bars downtown with some friends over the summer, and since Boston is the city that always sleeps, everything closes at 2AM. There being many bars in the area, after 2 there was just a big crowd of people in one area, including ourselves. At some point I turned around and saw WHAM! this guy with his shirt open, pants and boxers down, showing off what God gave him! I was shocked - there are just times and places you don't expect to turn around see a naked man! And this was one of them!

Of course, when I turned back to my friends and told them and they looked, he'd already pulled his pants back up and only person saw him actually in the act of pulling them up and believed me.  :P

I dislike being barefoot. Dunno why, I just much prefer having something on my feet.

I think it may be because I lived almost 6 years of my life on a beach in Hawaii, but I hate wearing shoes.  They're constrictive.  I'd much rather be barefoot.  I love the feel of sand and grass under my feet.  Of course, asphalt and concrete isn't quite as pleasurable - living in NYC, I kind of have to wear shoes.

I prefer wearing socks too, and shoes/boots to sandles.  There are some freaks that wear sandles when it's freezing outside.  You're not that crazy, are ya Mike?   ;D

I've seen it too.  I think most of these people live in residence, so they're not really outside for more than 5 minutes.  But I think once it starts snowing, it's a little TOO odd to be wearing shorts.    8)

Hee. I don't know about when it's snowing, but it's certainly not all that uncommon to see people around here wearing shorts and skirts as soon as the temp barely creeps up above ~50ºF. Not me, of course... despite living my whole life here in New England, my blood has never quite thickened properly.

I do put on a jacket at least when it gets to be 40 degrees F, and I wear socks and shoes most of the time, but when I'm inside I prefer barefeet and light clothing. My jacket is really nice though, it's great for the range of 20-50 degrees F, and doesn't get too warm or cold except when temperatures are in the 60s or 70s. 50 degrees and higher = thin long sleeved shirt and that's good.

I *have* tried going outside in freezing weather with an undershirt on, taht was quite chilling. ;)
