First I'd like to say it's so great to see a working example of what the game will be like. I'm totally stoked to see the full version and I'm surprised you're still going to put this out for free despite all the effort you're putting in.
I played through the demo, and I only got stuck breifly when I finally convinced Hassan to let me on the ferry. Then I realised I hadn't been to the garden...

The graphics are really nice for a fan project, and everything about the gameplay felt really natural, almost nostalgic. I really only have 3 things  I wanted to mention. 2 seem to be bugs I hope to see gone by the full version, and the last is a gameplay suggestion.

1- I noticed Graham's walk animation sometimes either not play (sliding around) or stop while he's walking back to the standing position. I'm sure that'll get fixed. It's only an animation bug.

2- At first I thought Hassan was just rude, but then I realised everyone was cutting Graham off right before he finishes the sentances. I hope you manage to fix the dialogue timing before release.

3- Ok, this is something I think is important. I think the hand icon should glow when it's on something interactable, or give some kind of indication that you can use something, because I got pretty tired of just clicking everywhere on a door to find out if I could go in or not. Same could be said about the move icon, when it's over an exit, it should glow or something. Maybe every action icon should have this feature.

What do you think?

Thank you for the kind words. We can't actually charge for the game, given that King's Quest is Vivendi's intellectual property. Even though we have an agreement with Vivendi, the only way it could be sold would be if Vivendi decided to do so themselves.

If you don't go to the garden, you miss the most important part of the demo...my name in the credits!!!

This is a problem with the way the Torque engine processes .ogg sound files. We've found a probable fix for this, but I'm not sure if it's been integrated into the current build of the game yet.
Once the votes are read, the decision is final. The person voted out will be asked to leave the Tribal Council area immediately. I'll read the votes...

regarding the glowing icons, we made the deliberate decision to go with old Sierra here and avoid glowing stuff. We think it's way too cheap to have things glowing. Besides, because you can basically look at anything, and it'll give you either a specific description or a general one, it doesn't work as with the "glowing" systems where if something doesn't glow, there's no way to interact with it at all.
