What, me, oddball? Never! ...well, OK, maybe a little.

I was going for the double-take "WTF?" effect. It's what I live for. ;D

And NO, KQIX is not going to be a musical.  There's no way I'm becoming musical director too - we still haven't gotten the voice recordings started yet!!!!!  But soon, very soon.

LOL, but it'd be a good musical!

Quote from: mfortunato on February 23, 2004, 03:20:15 PMSo, right now, there's just ideas.  Nothing set in stone.  We'd like the song to be there, but we can't guarantee anything.

This is just SOOO typical!! the moment I get my hands on some nice, interesting piece of info, someone has to jump up and deny it. :P

I still think there's going to be a song... and Mike is going to sing it :D

I didn't realize that everyone was putting up their songs!  Just found this thread today.  Well, if I can figure out how to do it, I guess I'll put something up!  That, and I can get something recorded...you'll probably hear something from "Les Miserables".

Please say its "on my own"? I absolutley ADORE that song, we usually sing it in choir when our music teachers has given up trying to teach us 17th Century folk music...heh.

How in the world do I post a song on here?  How do I convert it?

lol, if it's less than 100kb you can attach it.  Otherwise you need to upload it to your webspace and link it.  :)

Well, Alex, you will be happy!  Because I had already planned on singing it!  I LOVE that song.  Although, when you hear my version of it, you might cringe!  Manly b/c I'm singing w/o any music.  Although, we should do a duet w/ "A Little Fall of Rain"...if we could figure out how to do it anyway.

Here it is…don’t laugh.  First of all, I had no music, so it’s accapello  (spelling horrible, I know)…second of all, my roommate could not time the recording well, due to her overdose of heroine (just kidding, she told me to type that) so that accounts for some of the jumps in the song.  Thirdly, I’m recovering from strep, so I’m not at my best (that, and the fact, I haven't had voice lessons, so it's pretty rough).  Where I go flat in the song…sounds a LOT better with the music, but I promise, those are the notes hit!  (If you don’t like it, my roommate says she will hunt you down, put you in three separate shoeboxes, and ship you to three different parts of the world…excluding those native to the UK).

I've added a second song, kinda playing around with headphones to do a duet.  DON'T LAUGH

Well, while I'm d/l Catherine's stuff, I'll post some mucking about of my own. BTW, recording stuff a capella that isn't supposed to be, and learning a song by singing to the soundtrack because you don't have sheet music... well, it doesn't work that great. :P

(links go happy bye-bye)

I wouldn't be surprised... my sound card sucks. :P Harrison's setup is better, but I hate using his computer. :P :P

At any rate... my fave song from that soundtrack is really "Lusty Month of May", but there's just no way that any mere mortal can hit Julie Andrews' range. ;P
