Anyhoo. It's more than just looks, you know. The guys (where I am, at least) like perky, trendy, petite, outgoing, ditzy, stereotypically girly-girly gals... which I totally am not. Even my ex-boyfriend said he found the fact that I was tall and intelligent to be "intimidating". Like, you know, I'm going to kill him with algebra incantations or something.

now ya see Jeysie, some men like to be intelligent, some men like to think they are smart (and i dont want the 43 men on this site to hav a go at me and say this is not true, coz im not saying all men do it!!!), so if they are appraoched with by intelligent female they get scared coz ur better than them. ofcourse being pretty dumb myself i dont really know what im on about lol.

and i know wot u mean about them going for the petite, the outgoing etc. my friends are like that- and they get the men. I get the men as friends.

i was shy once, but after drama and performing arts in general, (and for some reason 6th form college)...i became more outgoing and i hav got slightly more attention from men...but sometimes the wrong men and the wrong attention.

And here my life story unfolds and u see me for the pathetic person that i am...i hav had 1 bf and i dumped him (power to the females)
seriously tho, i realised after rushing into a relationship that 1) he wasnt what i wanted 2) i didnt know at the time what i wanted and i could go on and on but i wont.

the point is..if there is one in this mini essay that i hav written is that u just hav to be urself, i know at the mo it hasnt really got me very far but its better than being summit im not and attracting the wrong bloke. im actually happy being single, infact i dont mind it. it gives me space to breathe, plenty of room to flirt   hello boys! and all thats stuff

and if you could kill with algebra, the world would be a better place!

I fall tall and intelligent very attractive, even if it also intimidates me somewhat.  It's just when they realize I'm a putz that things go south.

As for always being "the friend", it's the story of my life.  I've always been myself (obnoxious, of course. ) and received compliments like "cute and funny" or "a great guy"....but I never seem to be "great" enough.  It always seems that there's someone better out there for the ladies than myself.  Sure...good friends!  But boyfriend...no.

What drove me even more bonkers is that my best friend would *always* have all the guys drooling over her... argh! And I mean, it's not like she was really gorgeous or wore skimpy clothes or anything, either. I always would try studying her to see how she got the guys all interested, but I could never see her doing anything different than the sort of stuff I did. I *still* don't get it.

I finally get to know the puppy's name!  And that's so sweet of you to wonder why none of us are snatched up!  I guess American guys want the model thin girls (at least, that's what I see) and since I'm not one of those...too bad.
