I heard the new Rambo was a disgrace... an excuse for senseless violence. I'm guessing you wouldn't say that?

I wouldn't say it was an excuse for senseless violence. I think it showed what violence would really be like, and showed how horrible it is in some countries. Too often they don't show what guns really do to people, what terrible damage they can do and this movie certainly showed that. Plus if Rambo is senseless violence, then every horror movie ever made is too, and I love horror movies.

I'm also not recommending it to everyone, it's one of the most graphic things I've seen. I just don't think it's fair that it's called senseless.

Yeah, I liked the previous 3 Rambo movies. When I heard that though, I was kinda put off. Glad to hear it isn't, I'll probably see it now.

I saw Strange Wilderness tonight. It was hilarious! Once again not a movie for everyone, it has several bits of extreme gross out humor and is rated R.

Saw Jumper the other night, it was ok. It was absolutely nothing like the book :-\ and it's obviously set up to be series. What did people who aren't familiar with the books think of it?

Next Four: Dark Knight, Inkheart, Narnia, and Indiana Jones.

*revives*

Last 4: Be Kind Rewind (twice), Strange Wilderness, Rambo (twice) and Juno.

Next 4(I think): Nim's Island(sucker for adventurey kids movies :P), Run Fatboy Run, Narnia 2, and Indy 4.

The only movie I might go see in the theater would be The Hobbit, but as they haven't started working on it yet, it might be awhile.

Inkheart (still), Narnia, Indy, and Dark Night

Though the next four I see are never the ones I list here XD

PirateKingChris

Generally mine are, cause I see alot of movies each year. I saw 20 new in the theater and probably at LEAST double that on DVD last year.

I see a lot too, that's the whole reason they're never the next four, cause I always end up going to see other movies before them that I wasn't planning on going to. :P

koko_99_2001

I generally don't really see those in theaters. I want to go, but don't have anyone to go with. I mean, besides my family. But we live in two different cities now. And my friends stay busy enough that we just see each other at church or some place like that XD

I can't sit still long enough to watch movies. I'll only watch movies I have an interest in or I've seen before and loved. Even then I'll be getting up to do something every few minutes though. XD

I does look like a cute movie.

"Dr. Seuss' Horton Hears a Who!" Was very good. A must see I would say.

I just came back from Horton, and I thought it was very fun. It stayed true to the original book, while adding in more stuff, and was not hampered by the usual "kids think farts and poop are funny" algorithm.

I don't remember the book really. ( I should go read it in a book store someday.) I thought it was well done though, everything but that last two minutes. That part was painful the movie would have been perfect without that.

Best Buy has the "Robotech Prodoculture Collection" On sale for 38$ this week if anybody is interested. I got it and watched the first twelve episodes last night. I think Robotech would make a great real life movie or 3D computer animated movie. I hope they make it someday.
