I will say a few things:

This forum is pretty inactive; there has not been a day since September which has had more than 100 posts and the fewer posts there are per day, the fewer hits this site get.
Casual conversation will help revive this forum and make it fun and happy and spammy. :P As much as I hate to say it, structuring this so that no one can go off-topic will just make it more awkward, especially when it can only condescend to spam with quotes of semi-seriousness. :P I don't know, I just don't think it will help if it's made awkward by more rules. I know you're short on mods and I know no one likes splitting and merging threads, but this forum has been becoming rapidly less active. :-\ I mean to offend no one (least of all DD, who correctly pointed it out, Yonkey or the mods, for all whom I have nothing but the greatest respect), but I do wonder if it's completely necessary to totally ban casual conversations from everywhere but Haven, where serious posts aren't even made. :P

I take some serious offence to that quote! Whatever I post (and 99% of my posting is done in Haven) are extremely taught out and made. Of course, in 1 % of my posts that's not the case. So, the question is, is this post one of the 99% or one of the 1%? ::) :P

Will the super secret story be novelized by Peter Spear who did some novelization books of KQ games? If so, can we expect them before the game is released, or not until then?

I know a couple years back Peter Spear said he wanted to novelize TSL.  I haven't really heard much since though.

Yonkey, you haven't heard from Peter Spear since then? Do you know if Cesar or whoever gave the clearance to novelize the story? Has any other author, writer been told it was ok to do a novel of the story? and if so, would it come out before the final game, similar to some movie book tie-ins and soundtracks come out before a movie's release date?

I think the issue was that while we gave him clearance, there's also a Vivendi aspect to it.  He had to get permission from them as well, and I'm not sure if they ever got back to him or not.
