I don't remember being in any serious pain when I had mine taken out.  It's more like a nagging toothache, and you're forced to eat slop like applesauce and soup. :P

I've never had to get teeth pulled before, so I'm just very scared about what may happen... XD
Although I never got wisdom teeth, I did have two of my other teeth pulled out (they were misshapen baby teeth that stayed in for years and years because the permanent teeth never bothered to show up).

The procedure itself is okay, albeit a bit long. It doesn't hurt too bad afterwards; it's only mildly annoying. The worst part, in my opinion, was how gross everything tasted the following week... how the heck can vampires stand blood?? :dead:

Thank you SO much for these images!  ::) [/sarcasm] Well, I am not too fond of either soup OR  applesauce, so eating will be a big pain in the butt after getting all four of my wisdom teeth removed... XD I can just imagine the type of pain I'll be in... XD

that would be 2 visits. The first for the right side and the second for the left side. That way you can still eat a little bit.
Mine didn't hurt it only gave me a rainbow face. The second time was more annoying pain than really pain.

Hah! If only, I had all four of my wisdom teeth out and a normal tooth taken out in one go... oh, and they installed a chain on a tooth in the palate to drag it out... ... I should stop reminiscing about now...

lol, at least I'm not the only one who had the chain :P Technically, it was a baby tooth taken out and then the chain attached...and within the year, the four wisdom teeth :P

I had to have mine removed with two separate surgeries, the second worse than the first though because my teeth were completely sideways in my jaw. (pointed forward instead of up)
I was put on demerol (sp) and slept 20 hours of the day for an entire week.

Well, besides the orthodontist taking a hunk out of my cheek...and having one hole on the opposite side that didn't want to heal, so I was in pretty severe pain for about three days..I didn't have any problems :P

I know, doesn't it? Well, the orthodontist said that if my teeth are compacted, it will be harder to get them out, thus I'd likely be in more pain. I am not exactly looking forward to getting teeth pulled, so I hope all goes well. And I've never been put under anesthetics, so that just makes me worry more... XD

My wisdom teeth are actually causing me a bit of pain at the moment... but yeah nothing to worry about. Anesthetics might make you feel a little sick but you shouldn't worry, you'll be fine.

I bet I'll be really tired after though. My mom got some anesthetics once, and she was so tired, she had to have me cook her a pizza. She couldn't get up off the couch she was so tired.

That's always a good thing! That's the only upside I can think of, but it certainly is a good excuse. It's an excuse to watch TV all day and not get yelled at, and I can miss work for it too!

Really. When I created it I was hoping at least a few people would respond to it, and it turned out I created a whole new conversation. :P
