Mine haven't grown in... completely (after reading this thread, this morning I woke up, finding it a little... odd to chew my food, to check my mouth and find a little white peeking out from the back of my teeth)  currrseeeesss lol.

I don't wanna lose my wisdom  :'(

Haven't been posting much lately, and I don't know how much I'll be doing so the next couple of days, depends on how I feel after my surgery tomorrow for my wisdom teeth. :P

I think I ate pasta mostly.

They put me to sleep for the whole thing. I don't remember a thing tell they were wheeling me out in a wheelchair.

back in 3 days? I could have come back to school the day after. The trouble was it was done during my holidays.
As already told the second time was the worst time, and since I had some days off I stayed the second day in bed reading books. The first time only give me a rainbow cheek.. The surgeon told me the next time that that could be an effect of the local anesthetic.

I probably could have too but my parents kept me home. After playing games for two days strait and not really needing the medication they decided to let me go to school.  :)

I was totally asleep...so I didn't hear anything. And I ate a lot of jello. And it was pretty invasive because mine were impacted. But I had to have them taken out since I had my braces, and we didn't want all the work to go to waste when the wisdom teeth came in.

Went pretty good. Only one out of the three hurt. And now that I don't need the annoying gauze anymore, with Tylenol even that one doesn't really hurt anymore. Course, they say it hurts the worse 3-5 days after the surgery rather than the day of. :P
It was the first time I've had surgery and gone completely under since I was two, so that was a little strange. But I wasn't out of it as much as my sister was, who couldn't even remember what she was talking about on the ride home. XD

I just really don't want to get dry socket. :-\

Gauze! THAT'S what it was! It wasn't cotton balls. :wall:

If you're required to keep swapping out your gauze, keep doing it. (I was required to) I had no problems with dry sockets.

Glad it went well for you!

lol, I had to ask my Mom what is was called when I was making the post, I couldn't remember what is was called XD

Thanks!

The instruction sheet said until they stopped bleeding, which I think it mostly has, thank goodness. (Plus, I ran out of the gauze they gave me and nobody's gone to the store to get more yet :P)

I'm glad you are doing well and that it wasn't as bad as you were dreading. yay !!!

I'm sure you will be careful enough that you won't have a problem with dry socket.

Wowwww, you went under? :o What's that like?

For some reason my family doesn't react very well to drugs and stuff like that... when I got my teeth pulled I had a bad reaction to the laughing gas so I had to endure the surgery completely awake.

Weird... They gave me an iv and my doctor said "Tell me when you start to feel funny, ok?"

A few seconds later I did start to feel funny, and then the next thing I hear is him saying it's over. :P

I had to endure the surgery completely awake.
Ughh.. I hate being awake just during regular dentist visits.

I don't remember an IV for me...just the laughing gas. They said they'd count to 10...and I don't remember anything after 3 or 4. XD

For me they injected a local anaesthetic into my gums.  I was awake during the entire procedure, but really didn't feel anything.
