ok, so for those of you wondering, Humongous entertainment was a very popular game creator back when I was a kid. They developed now famous childrens games like Putt putt, spy fox, pajama sam and more. Now, three of their games are getting revived for the Nintendo Wii. Pajama Sam: No Need to Hide When it's Dark Outside, Freddi Fish and the Case of the Missing Kelp Seeds, and Spy Fox in Dry Cereal are going to be remade for the Wii with point and click adventure game style play. The reason I made this thread in the adventure game section is because of the new control scheme. Previously, they weren't quite point and click. You just put your mouse on the edge of the edge of the screen until an arrow appears to leave the screen. Then again, it could be the same type of control mechanism, but whatever. Feel free to move this if it doesn't fit here. And use this thread to talk about Humongous Entertainment and their various games. Oh, few things I forgot to mention. These new games will retail for $19.99 each, they will be released by Majesco (Humongous no longer exists as an entity. They are now part of Infogrames) and will be out mid-2008 (my sources tell me sometime in September.)

My sister and I loved those games when we were little! Particularly Putt-Putt. XD

"Hi Rosella. The bad guys captured me as a kid and I couldn't figure out what was going on until you saved me a few years back. After all your efforts, I couldn't even stay out of trouble for one day and the bad guys got me all over again. My mind is easily warped, so I had no self-control when I turned you into an ugly troll. Then I almost blew up the world with this volcano..."

they were all extremely fun. I remember scouring the net to finf new info on future Spy Fox titles (he was my absolute favorite humongous character...) And I remember the glee I felt when watching trailers of upcoming spy fox games. I love him to this day lol

Fatty Bear was my first Humongous game. I loved it! As for Spy Fox, I remember getting the first one when I was 12. Oh and the first Pajama Sam I bought a couple of years ago.

Me and my sister own ALL of the Freddie Fish, Spy Fox, Putt-Putt, and Pajama Sam games. I might have to look into renting these for my Wii.

Yeah, it was good. Unfortunately Fatty Bear didn't take off as well as Putt-Putt. But Fatty Bear is my fave next to Spy Fox.

Fatty bear deserved a sequel! It was actually really good!!!!! I used to own all the Humongous games (IE their entire library of junior adventure games) but I sold most of them save for Spy Fox. I got the fourth Pajama Sam and the newest Putt putt (Pep's birthday Surprise) but I don't have the other titles. I recently rebought Pajama Sam 1-3 (I'm still waiting for it to get delivered) and I'm expecting to really enjoy them. I just hope that these wii versions sell well to warrant the other games in the series the make over treatment, and hopefully spawn new and original adventures (Spy fox 4 anyone? I've been dying to get my hands on a new Spy Fox adventure, and there isn't even any fan-fiction of it anywhere!) Anyone want to make a fan game for fatty bear or some other humongous property? but yeah, Humongous entertainment is what I grew up on really. It's my life. I was actually introduced to them AFTER KQ I think... not sure though lol

I think we had the demos to most of those games when I was very young, I barely remember them. :-\
