I'm not sure what you're referring to with Pocahontas. However, I do remember something about Pocahontas dying of a disease?

Her AGE. They made her a busty late teen/twenty something when she was a child when John Smith met her.

Err...and there was no romantic thing between them either, which I should have mentioned as well as her being younger...since it makes it sound...gross.

45th Anniversary Sword in the Stone DVD coming in June :) Been added to my amazon wish list and talking to my mom she already made it sound like it's something I'll surely get for my birthday  ;D

*wants Tim Tams now*

Must remember to go to the World Market when I'm home next weekend to get some :D

Since I'm already posting in this thread...
I'm trying to get a DVD copy of Hunchback off Ebay, though if I'm outbid I'll get one from Amazon. I watched my VHS copy the other night and the top portion of the screen was screwy the entire way through :(

PirateKingChris

I've never had Tim Tams! *hint hint* ;)

I've got Hunchback, probably in the vault for a couple more years. Silly Disney.

I would definately recommend the Beauty and the Beast DVD as it has an added song, Human Again from the broadway show, added in, and the animation matches and the song fits well with the movie.

I actually really didn't like them adding the song in, and it's something I fast forward every time I watch the film just because it felt disjointed to me.  Although maybe being a fan of the film as it was, that changed things for me.  It's one of my favourites..  The fact that the titular Beast is our KQ6 Alexander makes it all the more better!

I was kicking myself when I found out down the line that there was an ultra-special edition of the DVD released (I only got the regular one since it was the only one I saw on sale), where you could watch it without the song.  But it goes for upwards of £60 and I'm not paying out that.

I thankfully have most of my favourites on DVD now - Beauty and the Beast, The Lion King, Aladdin, Mulan, The Little Mermaid, Pinocchio..  As well as many others that I love!

Halfway through your post I was going to say you can watch it without the song but wow there's two special editions?

I don't have Pinocchio yet, and Sword in the Stone is definately the next one I'll be getting.

I've pretty much decided that the next time I head to Target, I'm going to buy "Mary Poppins"...I just watched "Sound of Music" last night...and every time I see it, I love it more!
