Sound of Music... ewww. I just can't stand musicals... Grease is the only musical I do like.

Eww, talk about backwards! You dislike musicals and like one of the worst I think was ever written. :P

lol XD I almost got Mary Poppins and then I thought "I've got a full week...don't want to stretch the bank account TOO much" so I'm going to wait another week or two. Just hope it's still out!

You do realize that most animated Disney Movies are, in terms of format, musicals?

And I love musicals! I'm going to see Wicked and the Lion King next year. I'm excited!
Also, Racx, have you seen the Phantom of the Opera, Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street, or Les Miserables? All excellent musicals.

True, but I like that in animation, movies I don't. They bore me to tears...

Sweeney Todd, I did want to see, but if it's a musical, I think I'll avoid it. :P

Don't avoid something just cause it's a musical. That's like avoiding all of other genres, you can't possibly hate ALL comedies for example. :P
I'd recommend you see Sweeney Todd, it's very good.

I second the Sweeney Todd recommendation  ;D

The fact that the titular Beast is our KQ6 Alexander makes it all the more better!
Lol ya I learned this today when I was doing some random imdb browzing and I told my dad and he was like "I knew Robby Benson played the Beast but I didn't know he played Alexander"  :P

EDIT: ok and now I read that Tony Jay (Captain Saladin/Lamp Trader in KQVI) played Frollo in The Hunchback of Notre Dame

"Hi Rosella. The bad guys captured me as a kid and I couldn't figure out what was going on until you saved me a few years back. After all your efforts, I couldn't even stay out of trouble for one day and the bad guys got me all over again. My mind is easily warped, so I had no self-control when I turned you into an ugly troll. Then I almost blew up the world with this volcano..."

I loved Frollo in that! Especially him singing The Bells of Notre Dame at the beginning.

That's Clopin XD

Unless you meant the small part where Frollo talks during the song and not Clopin singing the actual song.

Oops, right. In that case I loved Frollo singing the song about his lust for Ezmerelda in front of the fire.

Everybody always likes that song, but I don't; I always fast-forward through it. I found it really boring when I watched it as a kid. :P

Ugh I'm sorry but if you like a movie, I don't think you can fast forward through it, otherwise you don't really like it enough...

Edit: I'm sorry, that sounds rather rude doesn't it, I didn't mean to. I just like that song, and are surprised you don't, Tessy.

Usually when I say something rude I leave it. Fortunately, you aren't stupid like myself. XD

No worries. :)

I should have said I didn't use to like it - I actually don't mind it as much as I used too; actually, now that I think about it, I've really gotten used to it since I set up a Disney playlist with the Hunchbuck soundtrack in it and have listened to many times. When I watched Hunchback last week I didn't fast-forward through it.

My anti-social worries kicked in, I thought it appropriate to apologize. I started freaking out I might majorly upset you, I'm glad I didn't.  ;)

Ah, I understand. I do that too.

I don't really agree, but I certainly don't mind you stating your opinion on the subject. :P

I wouldn't expect you to agree. I just thought I stated my opinion too frankly and rudely.

Got my copy of hunchback on DVD a while back; watching the commentaries was pretty interesting.

I was going through our vhs's today and for some reason we have two copies of Aladdin. No idea why. :P

When does Sleeping Beauty come out? I thought it was sometime this summer, but I've yet to see it.
