5! = 120 (5*4= 20 then 20*(2*3)=20*6=120)

One gross is 144. So, it's just 24 numbers to guess from! (assuming we remain confined to integers)

I guess 131...it's almost in the middle of the range and it's prime! ;D

Both wrong.
All that is gold does not glitter
Not all who wander are lost
The old that is strong does not wither
Deep roots are not touched by the frost

From the ashes a fire shall be woken
A light from the shadows shall spring
Renewed shall be blade that was broken
The crownless again shall be king

40*pi?

or the floor(40*pi) or the ceiling(40*pi)?

or 125 and 126 respectively?

Wrong, wrong, and incorrect.

I guess 135 unless it's wrong in which case I guess whatever is right.

::) My logic is inescapably impeccable.

134 and 132 are also incorrect.

I guess 135 unless it's wrong in which case I guess whatever is right.
It's not wrong, it's just that the function isn't defined at 135. :P

Wait... so we're dealing with a real-valued function that is discontinuous within the limits you gave us! :o That doesn't seem fair at all... *grumbles*

Then, I choose 1/(135-x) :P

Well, it does approach 135 if you take the limit from the right... :P

No correct answers to date.

With what type of function are we dealing? I mean... should I be concerning myself with Heaviside step functions multiplied to arbitrary functions (you could make just about anything you wanted that way  :-\) or am I looking at a simple rational function of some form (you've said it's discontinuous so that rules out a lot of functions actually... for instance, it can't be a normal polynomial or linear function because those would be continuous)... ... ok, it's just way too much fun to drag this math talk out. :P

It's either a tan function, or a sec function, but I can't remember which...

dy/dx of y^2 + x^2?

I'm sorry, but I'm looking for an integer, not a function.
