Aww... Nebel beat me to it... I've considered saying in this thread that usernames from mythology and from legends are of a particular awesomeness... but I thought since mine comes from mythology that that might be seen as a bit of self-praise. (But, of course, I find them awesome: why else would I use such a username? *hmph* )

It was partially. I had other reasons, but I've forgotten them in the last three years.
