I wonder if there are adventure game conventions...'cuz I know that there are conventions for all sorts of stuff. Maybe we should start one. Or an online convention for adventure game fans, and then once we get enough people on the "online convention" we can talk about a live convention. And TSL can have a booth!
That's a great idea!
About local meetings, would it be possible to link two or three meetings in different locations, say for instance, by means of conferencing technology? So, we could have the US Southeast TSL Meeting, the Europe Germany TSL Meeting, and possibly some additional meeting such as the US West Coast TSL Meeting and link them up with webcams and stuff (maybe we could do the webcam link ups for special events like a toast or something near the beginning and then for goodbyes at the end and then otherwise have the webcams set up
as maybe little booth stations/whatever where interested parties would talk *thinks just having webcams trained on the meetings the whole time might be a little eerie* better idea: we'll set up the webcams at tables (assuming there will be food at these get-togethers) then it will be just like sharing a table (across the Atlantic and/or the US--long table!).
Just a thought.

(That's probably too big to start with... maybe we should just start by the different locales hooking up and setting up times and locations to meet up (such as the Europe people are sorta already doing in this thread

)
