As part of my endeavours in this new year I've begun reading The Man Who Mistook His Wife For A Hat by Oliver Sacks, it's quite interesting. :)

The Man Who Mistook His Wife for a Hat?  :D  Sounds like my kind of book.

Just started rereading The Princess Bride.  I read it when I was in junior high, but now that I'm older it's even better.  I laughed so hard I was crying within the first ten pages--and that includes the intro!

Just started on "The Edge of Recall" by Kristen Heitzmann. Looks to be quite interesting! Definitely suspenseful already.

You totally should, PK.  It's absolutely hilarious.  It's funny because in the book, Buttercup is such a bimbo and her take on things is just so funny.  :D

I finished reading Inferno, read Poetic Diction: A Study in Meaning by Owen Barfield (one of the lesser known Inklings), just read Alice in Wonderland, and am now reading Through the Looking Glass (which I've almost finished) and I will then read Ireland by Frank Delaney...

*hadn't realized he was doing so much reading lately... it feels good to realize that*

*may also be forgetting another book that he read between Inferno and Alice in Wonderland*

Gah, that book terrifies me.  I read it a few years back and had nightmares.  But then again, the movie always scared me, so...

It certainly has its creepy seemingly out-of-place bits--
The Walrus and the Carpenter reads as an incredibly creepy metaphor! *shudders*

I find Lewis Carroll very quotable though (in a manner similar to how Dharma & Greg or Firefly or Monty Python is very quotable).

*just finished Through the Looking Glass*

Currently in the middle of pretty much my favorite fantasy series ever, The Farseer Trilogy by Robin Hobb. Only like my 5th time reading it. ::)
