The BAD: I didn't get the Pasteur internship... though I was so worried about it before hand that it was kind of a relief just to know...

The BAD: some setting somewhere on my new laptop makes it so it will not open new windows in Firefox... so I have to try to do smileys from memory...

The BAD: my referees and potential adviser don't seem to have done their parts of the ircset app  ... I emailed them all a reminder last week... *will have to email them all again tomorrow if they still haven't finished since the deadline is Wednesday...

The GOOD: the forum is more active now it seems
The GOOD: one of my cousins is going to be in town briefly at least this week
The GOOD: when I was talking to my French I prof, she offered to send my resume around and help me look for an internship in Europe for the summer since Pasteur didn't work out
