Ah, that's a relief.

2.It would be good to see a remake of kq4 in decent graphics and perhaps enhanced with story details. But i will grant it to you, Atec, kq8 is more deserving of a total overhaul. If you guys can accomplish it, you shall be another Hero of what I call "King's Quest Revival" *Cheering on*
6. Well there are some non-adaptation films that tend to be very detailed and last 3 hours -which i like if i feel it makes the story complete but then we can't force everyone to sit in the cinema for that long.   Of book adaptations over 3 hours long I have to say I loved Apocalypse now: redux. It added a whole new dimension to the film.
7. now that looks good! I will have to try that, thanks for adding the link too. i haven't played many new adcentures, for the longest part i;ve been stuck on the old school classic games-kyrandia 3 was pretty good in te challenging-the-brain department, there were some tricky puzzles. kq5 too. I

2) Yeah, there's this one you know:
http://mmgames.org/KQ4
There's a forum and the project is promising, though moving slow.  I am a big follower of the project and a moderator there, and yes, MoE IS getting a total overhaul by us, I think we can do it.  Thanks for the cheering! ;D

3) Yeah, though I do like those, I don't usually like to just watch a film for that long.

7) Riddle of the sphinx is awesome!  Have you played Myst?  The interface is much like that, and the story is amazing, and you really have to think!  It's awesome! It came out it 2000 I think, so it's newer than most games I play :P

2. Uhmm. It appears to be dead. Or at least temporarily down. But i;ll keep an eye on it. Perchance it shall be restored to life.  Good to know there is one like this or at least has been attempted.
:james: Rock on, MoE remakers :)

7. I know of it and it's waiting in line. I will get it after i get Syberia. An then I'll get this Sphinx thing because it does look interesting.  Now, all of that will only happe at the beginning of next year due to recession and other interesting games that are coming soon :)

oops. I forgot about ww myself. I;m so used to not adding anything in the address bar-it always works but not with clickables.  Thankess. It does look promising, the screenshots are lovely.

true enough. If I wanted to do everything i hope to do i would need to live some good 300 years.

a. I was going to ask something but ten decided against it but obviously one letter stayed there.  ::)

It's really dreadful, a journey to hell... 181 victims or more :( such a pointless loss :(. Destructions up to 80 percent, especially in the town of Marysville/ I just can't imagine that.  I hope something can be done to improve protection system.  But little can be done about mad arsonists. It seems a bushfire arosnits is a probem specific to the region- i do hear about some who light the fires for recognition, to pretend to be heroes. Now, that's sick. And the clever ones are hard to catch too. Still just catching arsonists won't help anything.

It's simply dreadful.

lol 8 ) turns to 8) !! ;D

2)  yea, that project is promising!  I love the screenshots, and I think they are even further than that at this time, though progress is slow at the moment. (That always happens at some times with fan games :P )

8. that is horrid. >:( :( :'(  There's a thread on the AGDI forums about it, you know AGD2 and family were almost wiped out!  here's the link, and it has a good post by AGD2 about what he did and what he saw!

Dear heavens, poor guys. It's a relief they are fine.

You know my father just told me..one time he had an australian colleague researcher and he wrote to him or her that he feels sad about this fires. The answer was that this is nrmal in Australia, that they are used to it. It might be so but it's still hell. I can;t imagine being ued to it, it;s just not part of what i would consider reality but there it happens quite a lot -the fact that they might see it as normal is, itself, dreadful. It;s a horror of a thing to get used to :(

As for arosnists...i guess it;s all about money, too.

me too, although a visit to Australia some day might be interesting. i;ve never been anywhere outside europe. Only on a trip to morocco, but it lasted a week only.

9). Hmmm. I tend to have quite a few favourites, mostly classics, though. Out of non-classic books i liked the remains of the day by kazuo ishiguro, Lord of the rings trilogy. i also read a parody-it was funny.  I also love Zadie Smith's White Teeth.

10) Are there any places you would like to visit?
Hold fast to dreams for if dreams die, life is a broken-winged bird that cannot fly.

Another European? :) Where do you live? :) Welcome, there are far too few of us. :P

10) I've been almost everywhere I want to go, apart from Istanbul, Iceland, Denmark, Greece and Montreal. :P Though I would love to visit my all my happy places again. :P

10) LOL Montreal?! I think those other places are far more worth seeing first, Deloria. :P  There are actually a lot of places in the world I'd love to see someday.  In Europe, probably: Ireland, Italy, Switzerland, Greece... even UK and France again since it was kind of rushed the first time I went there.  Then there's the Caribbean, Australia, New Zealand, Hawaii, Japan, Egypt, and possibly Kenya.  Of course, the first set of countries is far more likely than the second. 10) Switzerland isn't worth seeing. ::) We have hills, some nice lakes, mountains, chocolate and not much else. :P

10) In my current state of the month, chocolate would be entirely welcome.  Perhaps I should go to Switzerland for the next 5 to 7 days.

12) This forum isn't as active as other places online, so people kind of forget about it until they're like, "Oh yeah! tsl-game.com!  I should go there and check it out!"  Then they get sucked in and remember why they were there in the first place.  I'm one of those guilty individuals.

13) Isn't it funny how the second someone says that they have an itch on their back, you start having an itch on your back?   :P

12) Yeah, I guess I see what you mean.

10) Mmmmmm.... chocolate. Unfortunately I don't have any in the apartment atm. But I ate more than enough Easter weekend. :P

12) Unfortunately I think I'm slowly entering the "only-post-every-so-often" stage. :-\

13) Just reading about Haids talking about is making my back itch. :P XD

10) I'm trying to avoid too much chocolate. Since I've been off caffeine even the slightest amount bothers me.

12) Yeah it's kinda bumming me out that most people are in that stage...I'm getting there too though. I found another forum that is a little more active, nothing to do with adventures and it doesn't mean I'll stop coming here.....I just wish it were busier here again  :-\

13) Yeah as soon as I read this my side itched. Sneezes are contagious the most of anything though. Generally if you sneeze in front of someone, or they sneeze, someone else is going to. XB

10) I don't usually have chocolate that often, but I've had quite a bit around Easter.

12) I wouldn't worry too much.  I'm pretty sure this place will get busy pretty quickly once the game is closer to release.

13) I always thought yawns were the most contagious. :P  The next time you yawn around someone, you'll most likely see them yawn too within 30 seconds. XD
