Space Quest is great. Lots of warped humor. I loved it. You should try it.

In KQ2 they do a Space Quest video when you peek into a hole in a rock.  I was laughing when I was watching it.  I'll look for a download when I come home from work tonight.  Thanks, Shades!

I like those.  It didn't take long to figure out that riddle, for me.  But I like it.

I don't remember the riddle being especially hard, either, but then again we had the Companion AND the official hint book.     I have it written on my white board in my room.

Yeah.  I never got the hintbook until after I had beaten all of them except 8.  THen I got the companion and hint books.

As for space quest, I've gotta play it a bit to find quotes, but I know there's a lot of funny ones from the narrorator. (sp?)

You actually don't even need to figure it out.  The answer is in the Black Widow's web and if you look in the Riddle Book before trading it in, there's a missing page which implies that it had Gate's riddle on it.

Well yeah, but I didn't even notice that until I was older.  I didn't realize the connection when I was seven years old.
