The EMBARRASSING: I injured myself getting out of the car at work. (I hit my glasses on the car door; they cut the bridge of my nose.)  :-[
Ouch... also, sadness that your kids are sick. :(

The GOOD: err... stuff and things... there are some nice people... yeah, that'll do

The WORK: I really, really need to get the stupid CMZ project done--it'd be done now if I hadn't headed off in crazy direction, methinks... :-\
The WORK+: I also need to get my write-up for the 2nd year progress report underway :-\ (it actually IS and it's all in LaTeX this time, so they'll be happy about that ::))
The WORKENING: While models for the CMZ project are running, I can't run models for the G333 project ... kopron... which my supervisor thinks will only take like a couple of weeks, which is probably true if I could dig out what he did to produce the profiles that I want to use as a starting point... so far, this has not worked :-\
The WORKENING II: I think maybe I can get the CMZ done in relatively shortish order of really focused effort  *crosses fingers* (It's just a matter of running a HUGE NUMBER of models in a relatively smallish amount of time, right? :P)... the main problem is when the CMZ/SGR B2 project, G333 project, and the write-up are ALL vying for time in my brain at once... then I quietly explode

The BAD: I am sooooooo busy :bomb:
The BAD: I feel like I have to get everything done all of the time!! AAAAAAAAAAAAAAH!

The GOOD: oo... Itzacon this weekend tho' :) I shall see cool and nice people and they will make me feel cool and nice! :D (that's the plan anyway :P)

The taste just isn't my favorite. It tastes burned and icky to me...but then again, my barista friend told me that the beans are deliberately burned a little to add that "distinct Starbucks flavor" to the coffee. Blergh! Keep those beans away from me! :X

Highlight of my day: Finally got my new computer. It's one of those new fancy interactive "mind" models.

My computer insist I call it..."01000111 01001111 01000100" heh, I'm sure it's something silly.

Lowlight of my day: There's some new stupid statement on my bank account that claims I am poor now, something about buying a new computer! Pfffft, I got a 15 dollar rebate coming in, that's like 2 dozen doughnuts or almost a night time movie ticket...almost.

Well, it's 3 bytes. Most common encoding systems only use one byte per character, leading to ladidada's computer wanting her to call it some 3-letter name. I didn't look it up, but I have a guess, it it involves not being able to open the pod bay doors. :P

Ok, now I did look it up and her computer is much less subtle than I thought. :P

Highlight of my day:

I GOT TO EAT PASTA! and not just any pasta, my FAVORITE!

Finish still life, for whatever reason that felt like a really short game. I thought it was good, not great though. I love playing multiple characters through time where everything comes together. I thought the voice acting was pretty bad, the dialogue a bit cliche and long winded at times, some annoying puzzles too, REALLY.

I am also marinating ribs (YES YOU CAN DO THIS!) and i will wake up at 7 in the morning to start cooking them for 6 hours and they will be the best ribs ever!

Low light of my day:

I lit a paper towel on fire when I was cooking the pasta, kind of upset me because I don't do stupid things when I cook. Almost made me humble for a moment and consider the face that maybe I am not the best chef in the world but then blew that off.

I only eat meat twice a weekish btw. For health reasons, I find that to be the best balance for me

:D That's spectacular!

THE GOOD: TGIFF at work! (Thank goodness it's Fake Friday). Tomorrow is a non-student day, and since my new shift is at 3 and the day will end at 5, my boss told me that I don't really have to come in tomorrow. Wooooo! :highfive:

THE EXCITING: My first quarter as a computer science student ends a week from today--only seven quarters left now! :pleased:

THE SCARY: My whole body has been aching relentlessly for the past two days, and that usually translates into the beginning of the flu for me. Seeing as I haven't had the flu in about three years, I reeeeeeeeally don't feel like getting sick now!

Highlight of my day: Just got back from one of those blitz, always on your feet, sleep only 4 hours vacays...and I'm about to get my first good night of sleep in many moons.

Lowlight of my day: Stubbed my big toe turning a corner. Still hurts 12 plus hours later :(

Highlight of my day: Went over to my friend's house whom just finished cooking and simmering a giant pot full of Chili, I ate two bowls! ^_^

Lowlight of my day: Went to work with two giant bowls of chili in me. Eh?  :-\

Highlight of my day: Work is preparing me for my surgery by placing me inside the office to do easy-peasy paper work, yay!

Low of my day: Okay this is so horrible I'm going to hide it. READ AT YOUR OWN RISK!
I get home just after midnight and when I go to park, I see a dead opossum and go meh. Cat must have got it, we have wild kitties everywhere. Then when I drive pass it to park, there are 3 little newborn opossums next to it. One is roaming around, one is whining and the other is laying on it's side kicking it feet.

As much as this should treat this as a Old Yeller behind the shed with the shotgun, I can't bring myself to...well end their misery. Don't know who to call, they won't pick them up, they're a menace here. What a horrible start to my weekend. I mean, I feel just terrible now
Call animal control. That's so sad!

THE GOOD: That awesome feeling at the end of the night when I can take my bra off.

THE BAD: One of my wisdom teeth has reached the "shredding up Hailey's cheek and making her whole mouth hurt" status and I'm in pain.

All my wisdom teeth grew in and this is the conversation I had with my dentist***

Dentist, "GODDA---er, uh *ahem* it appears, SOMEHOW....by LUCK....all your wisdom teeth grew in and had plenty of room...but like you should pay me lots and lots of money to remove them now because like if we ever have to do work on them, it's really hard because they're all the way in the back of your mouth...

*Dentist grabs the biggest, nastiest tool in his arsenal, makes drill sounds with it*

Denist (Cont'd) - "so, when do you want to come in?"

*Dentist makes the $_$ face, does maniacal evil laughter*

Me, "I'd rather wait until I'm in my mid-40s and screaming in fits of pain, TYVM!"

***Slight exaggerations may be involved in this recollection

:D Yeeeeeaaaaaaaah, my dentist and I had a similar conversation back when I was nineteen, only it was more like, "Hey Hailey, look at these really gross X-rays! In a few years your wisdom teeth will be here, see the roots all the way up by your cheekbones? Wanna remove them now?" Wish I had said yes, but again, I was nineteen and had no money. Now I'm nudging at 25 and still have no money. :bomb:

THE GOOD: Spring break, beeyatches!  No school until the 3rd! !!!

THE BAD: Teeth still ache.  Been living off of ibuprofin for the past week.

THE MENSTRUATION: I just consumed an entire 10-ounce bag of Hershey's Easter eggs.

Teeth pain is one of the worst. :(

Highlight of my day: I got to come home from work 2 hours early.

Lowlight of my day: I finally broke down crying after 18 months of worker comp hell in front of my boss' boss today. Nobody wants to help me at all. Not my job, not the worker comp people I deal with, not the hospital. All i get is bureaucratic hell from everyone. I have to fill page after page, it takes days(weeks) to get responses. I've become so bitter and unhappy at work. Just 18 months of it all came out. This is the absolute worst experience of my life. 9 days till my surgery and I have to delay again, I'll be devastated.
