THE BAD: Why does nobody want to play Judge Brack?! He's integral to the play!!!
Siiiiiiiiiiiiiggggggggghhhhhhhhh...okay, okay, Kiwi...
I'll play Judge Brack. What are my lines?
Darling, how could you invite her to Cambridge before me?
Point of order: he hasn't actually invited her yet.
You should be taking my side.
I was merely pointing out that it was not yet time to take sides.

First, you set up the position, then you simplify, then if you win the simplification, you trounce your opponent soundly taking all of his pieces, queening all of your remaining pawns (there's always a few that have to be sacrificed... for the greater good, dontcha know), and finally checkmating his king.

... I mean... uhm... well, yes, THAT, but I meant to make it sound less malevolent and more matter of fact...
The GOOD: Birighina is purring.
d'aww... BIRI!
The GOOD: remember that IDL code? Yeah, what IDL code. I don't have to handle that for a while yet it seems.
The BAD: the thing I do have to handle rather immediately is rather problematic (the HCN intensity is less than the HCO+ intensity in the computer model not to mention that the HCN profile is shaped wrong

, but on the plus side, the HCO+ profile is right and works and no one had to get nailed to anything!

)
The BAD: if I had that IDL thing working, I could SHOW you and that would all make sense b/c pictures really are worth a thousand words sometimes
The BAD: except when they are in 2nd years' lab manuals

The BAD: I think I'm about to be sick... oh well... that was the last of the Jaffa Cakes so if it's them, it should be over now
The GOOD: last of the jaffa cakes, possibly no more repeat poisoning myself... you know... maybe... unless it's completely unrelated
