The GOOD: got home safe and sound
The GOOD: the kitties are hanging around
The BAD: I think they're looking for Erik
The BAD: Erik's still in Texas
The really BAD: Erik's mom may not be with us for much longer

Oh, Cat, my heart is breaking for you.  :'( You know I understand the pain! C'mere... I've been praying for her and for peace in your family. May His spirit comfort you. <3

UNDECIDED: Obama for President for another 4 years.

WEIRD: So 4 years ago today I had toddlers on my lap at work asking them if they could say "Barack Obama" and "John McCain." I saw those same toddlers today at work--when they handed me their homework to give to their kindergarten teacher!  :o

GOOD: Almost time for bed. I so enjoy sleeping!

The BAD: soooooooooo tired
The BAD: the fourth years and my fellow postgrads are trying to talk me into going to the Science Ball ::)
The BAD: I have a presentation Friday... that I haven't put together yet...
The GOOD: I think it will be okay, because I have been doing all of the work obviously... it's just a matter of assembling it into presentation format...
The BAD: but nothing can really be done about it... one of the cores isn't finished... (so, I'm just kind of stuck going "and this is the last one we're working on before publishing")

The BAD: despite being told that I could print a certificate of insurance from my online insurance profile... I cannot...

The BAD: this awful music I'm listening to while on the phone with the insurance company ::)

The GOOD: oh, good... they will send it to me... ... ...
The BAD: they don't know how long it will take... ::)
The MEH: Feh... odds are good if I go up there tomorrow morning I'd get the "nice" garda officer who accepted my proof of insurance for the last two years...

BAD: Access hates me. But, you knew that already! Luckily I only have one more project which is part of my Comprehensive Project, which is very simple according to my professor.

My professor told me "This was just to whet your appetite for databases."

"Well it tastes terrible!!"

we both laughed and she said she is gonna remember that one.

Sorry to hear that, Cat :( I join in on the hugs and prayers.

Good: Two job apps completed this week. One of them just HAS to stick one of these days, right? RIGHT? (Ok, that might have sounded a bit desperate.)

Good: In my heart and in my soul I know I have done good today. Helping, caring, nursing.
Bad: In my head, I don't know what to do anymore. I didn't expect a thank you, but I most certainly didn't expect a f*** you plus all the other horrible things that followed.

The BAD: Hormone stuff still/again. :( Menopause has given me what has so far been a two-week long migraine. To fix this so I can actually concentrate next week, my doctor's put me back on oestrogen. :( Hello, contractions. I've missed you.
The BAD: Greek vocab test tomorrow. I've gone through the dictionary over and over and over and over. XD
The BAD: So high. :(

Is it bad that I'm getting pleasure out of seeing other people suffer with Access? I mean, of course it sucks that you're having a hard time, but I feel better knowing others have such a issue with it too! :P

GOOD?: I overslept by 6 hours this morning and completely missed class. Ah, well, carpe diem.

BAD: I gots to leave for work in ten minutes.

WORSE: My friends here are suffering in a multitude of ways. Love you guys! Stay tough!

Oh dear. That IS Bad. :( What about tea? Or is this a no-caffeine thing?

I would not be happy about no more coffee either.

I can't have coffee either Say!!!!!!

*clings desperately to Say in withdrawal sweats*

Right now I can't have any caffeine or alcohol or citrus juice.

Which means I'm basically down to drinking Shirley Temples for a vice. :(

Oh, that's good. I like that. XD

The BAD: wasted about an hour going up to the GNIB office to see that it was still Frigida, Mala Regina Occidentalis, on duty ::)

The SAD: the thought just occurred to me as the GNIB office is clearly where the other gardaí send you when they don't want you around, maybe she just does this to people for the sake of company?? But then I figured that's like having sympathy for the devil and I want no part of that. :P Besides that would imply that the other guards don't like the super-nice guy who is the personification of céad míle fáilte :( :o  Also, even if it were that pitiful, it's no justification for what she does to people. :-\

The GOOD: after a hiccup or two, a certificate of insurance is on its way. I explained to Icy McQueen over there that it would take as long as it takes (and that 1--the garda for the last two years has accepted my documentation as it was and 2--I was told last year to bring in the same documentation and it would be fine... ...she proceeded to accuse me of attempting to defraud the immigration office in several ways ::) (it's called a chill pill, hun): "Honey chil', puh-lease! If I wanted to defraud y'all, I could just not show up... an' this ain' exactly whitty reparté, so what is it exactly you think I get out of this?")

The IRONY: She was very irritated with me for being a few days late... if I get the other one after my insurance info comes in, I can say "The other garda sent me away saying I needed different proof of insurance; I told her that would take as long as it takes to come in and I would have no control over it. She didn't care. Here I am: here's my proof of insurance."

The GOOD: I just got 94% on my Huntington's paper! :D This means I'll have at least four perfect final FINAL grades! :D This means I really don't have to worry about the rest of my grades and I'll almost certainly pass unless I really mess things up in the massive four-hour long exams. XD
The GOOD: I'm making Brandon talk to me. :P

Shirley temples? Well now that's just saucy! You rebel against society, you!

That's not a bad alternative, though. Shirley temples are tasty.

Somebody recently introduced me to DIRTY Shirley Temples. Of course, I know you can't have them, Cray, but dear God, are they delicious! :drunk:

THE BAD: I accidentally overslept yesterday and I have fallen behind in programming. Uggghhh...
THE GOOD: I CAN drink coffee, and I am. :pleased:
THE FRUSTRATING: Access class is first. :bomb:
