Heh- please don't expect me to be online like this all the time though :) I'm having a slow day at work- I'm actually in NZ so it's during the day for me. I'll likely only be on at night. It has been great chatting though <3

NZ! !!! :D I studied abroad there for a month and absolutely *loved* it! Really want to go back some time  There's another forumer form NZ on here somewhere but I don't remember their username atm...

Yea, this is actually pretty busy for the forums. We'll have sprees like this every now and then but usually I'm only making around 2-8 posts a night vs. the 30 something I've made tonight.

Oh- really? What part of NZ? I'm in Auckland in the north Island :) Yes- I really love my country too. When I hear of other countries, their culture attracts me, but My heart is always here. I don't think I could live in a big country. Kiwis are down to earth types of people. I like that about here :)

Lol- yeah. As much as I LOVE a busy forum, I have a busy social program of various communities I belong to so I can't post 30 times a day normally either XD It was cool to have so much activity on my first day though! Alot of forums can be quite dead >.>

All over. We flew into Auckland, then down to Christchurch, got on a bus and looped around the south island, ferried back to the north island, drove to Auckland and flew home. It was amazing, and so beautiful. :D Still love that fact that one day I was hiking on a glacier and another was in warm weather sea kayaking. :D

Ah- yeah, that sounds like a good 10+ day trip that :) It's too bad that you didn't go further south. The South island is really pretty :) I assume that you went to all the glaciers and stuff though. Christchurch is pretty flat though- it's really weird like that :/ Visiting for a holiday? Or to visit family?

It was through my college, for a class called Diverse Environments. We actually spent more time on the south island then the north - have a pic of me standing at the southernmost point of NZ sign. :D Pretty much all I saw of Auckland though was the airport. :-\

Oh - and I got to zorbing, which just about killed my sister she was so jealous. We'd both wanted to do that forever, and to get to do it in Rotorua was just beyond awesome.

Oh- so you DID go right down to Invercargill! Excellent :D I haven't Zorbed yet, but it looks pretty excellent. If you want outdoor activities, South Island is better than Auckland. Auckland is about as city as NZ gets. There's a few things of note, but mostly it has what the south island has to a lesser degree. Sounds awesome XD

XD Thanks ;) I must say- when it's not your first forum experience it's alot easier to get into it >.> My first few were all like 'Oh hi! I'm new! *dashes away*' Some are pretty intimation like Den of Angels- a Ball jointed doll forum. Talk about DAUNTING. People are pretty cool around here so it's real easy to fit in, so thanks to all you guys back! XD

LE GREETINGS TO ALL.

I've been browsing the site for a long, long time, and decided it was finally time to actually take a proper peek around. A few things about me:
1. Despite my clever use of the word "le" (yes it's a word), I'm not French. Australian.
2. I have long since completed the first two episodes of TSL (without walkthrus, so go me I guess), and am eagerly awaiting part 3. BRING ON PART 3 ALREADY.
3. I firmly believe - and don't kill me for this - but I believe that Mask of Eternity's reputation is unfair. It was a damn fine game, in all honesty - it just should never have been released under the King's Quest label. Just sayin' is all.
4. YOU WILL BOW TO MY WHIM, PUNY UNSCALED MORTAL.

Welcome to the forums! We have a thread I think somewhere where we discussed MoE, if you're interested in discussing it with other questers.

Hello all!  Newbie here. :)

I've been a fan of King's Quest since I watched my dad playing it, and I inherited KQV, then the whole series from him.  I discovered TSL a few weeks before the second C&D, and was heartbroken when I found out.

Then today I discovered that it's been released, from tvtropes.org, no less.  I'm downloading now and can't wait!  ;D

It's such a nice change, to be around people who know what King's Quest is.  8)
