I've been growing my hair out for the last year or so. I wanted to do it for a long time, but my high school wouldn't allow it. It actually caused an argument or two with my mother who went so far as to trick me into a trip to have my haircut one time (she said we were going out to eat, we all got in the car, but we stopped to have my hair cut first ::) )
Wow...  :-\
She'll have a hard time doing that when you're in Ireland, huh? :pleased:

Indeed. :P Though the trad music scene is a more powerful alluring force than family dysfunction's driving effect... oh, and the physics helps.  8)

Don't touch me! I don't know where you've been!

I wasn't implying that that was your reason for going - just that it's a nice side effect. ;) I'd love to visit Ireland someday! :D

LOL, we all decided to wear Twilight shirts as a joke. ;) We each had one, mine was the most garish. :P  I decided I'd rather go all out than wear a "TEAM EDWARD  <3 <3 <3" t-shirt.

"Forced on a trip", "wear Twilight shirts as a joke" I don't know, it feels like you are ashamed to admit that you are actually a twilight groupie  ::)

Hey boys, never once did I say that I hate the books and hate all things Twilight!  I have admitted that I liked the books and enjoyed reading them.  This is not to say that it was my favorite series of all time and that Stephenie Meyer is lyke my new bff, but it was decent.  I'm not one of those girls.  *Shudder*

That being said, I was forced to go on the trip.  Honest!  April made the reservations for three people before I had a chance to say otherwise.  And hey, it was surprisingly fun.  Like I said, the best part was giving blood with a biker group.  A big guy named Joker (who was a real live hostage negotiaor!) held my hand when the needle stabbed me.  Nothing that happened in Forks could compare to that moment!

You know we're just giving you a hard time because we like you, right?
Actually, I also read and enjoyed the Twilight books. :o They're kind of fluffy, but it's nice to read something like that once in a while - especially since I'm usually brain-dead from work. :P I only saw the first movie, though, and I was really unimpressed with the acting.

I've read them too,and thought they were ok, definitely got me sucked into them and I wanted to find out what happened. Don't know that I care to read them again though. I've seen the first two movies, but really only want o see the last movie for
the kid
. Done on my iPod so I hope I got that tag to work right.

LOL!  You're funny, Tess.  But that's exactly the reason why I don't watch the movies.  It's like Harry Potter--I like it all better in my head.

I read the first 20 pages of the first one and HATED it. It's written the worst fan fiction I've ever come across. And from what I've read about some of the things characters do...*shakes head.* not my cup of tea by any means of the imagination.

Anyway, since this is a picture thread, I'm going to post some pictures. I got a manicure and pedicure yesterday in one of my favorite colors. It looks good. The lady got annoyed with me because I messed up a nail because of my clumsiness :P She did do it again, though.
