Gabriel Knight series? Good Sierra series. First one is Gabriel Knight: Sins of the Fathers, second one The Beast Within (made with this weird "full motion video"), third is Blood of the Sacred, Blood of the Damned.

German is fun for weird names. :D You can put four or five stems on the same word. :D

Let me see...I once had a French teacher called "Haumesser" (Literally "Chopping knife" or "hitting knife"). :P

And another teacher whose full name translates into "Urban Pity". :P

That is just cruel!  :suffer:

I heard a mother shouting at her child a few years ago, she'd called him Denzel (but in a thick Liverpudlian accent so it sounded rediculous) it really REALLY didnt suit the child

Had a Mrs Lemon come in the other day she was a bit tart for my liking :p

For some reason I read that as "Damzel" and I was like "That is an AWFUL AWFUL name for a boy!"

When I reread it, it didn't seem so bad by comparison. :P

I once heard someone name their boy "Spatula". There's also Kevin Smith who named his daughter "Harley Quinn".

No, it's really the boy's name. Apparently, he's named after a fantasy character from a book. A very obscure book I guess.

and it's unfortunate if his friends shorten his name to 'spat'

Oh the bullying that child must have to put up with, sometimes Parents can be so cruel! And thats why as kids we have the power to choose their nursing home!  :suffer: (Only joking, but its a threat to your parents is hey embarass you!)
