I think I saw you mention it somewhere else on the forum (tho' I wasn't clear what you meant over there).

Did you know that I'm on the Linux partition of my desktop at the moment?

Nope, but that's cool.

Did you know that Alexander mis-quotes the poem when reciting it to the Lord of the Dead in KQVI?
("Man may pass the portal..." instead of "Flesh may cross the portal...") I memorized both versions.

Haids1987

Hmmm, actually I did not know that!  Very interesting.

Did you know that I was born in Anaheim, but only lived there for eighteen months before I became a Seattle girl?

Did you know I've been debugging tsl.exe?

Yes I did, and you are doing an wonderful job.

Did you know that I am graduating in 10 months?  :partyhat:

Haids1987

:drinking: Congrats, waltz! I knew it was soonish, but I didn't know when!

Did you know that I read Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows in 14 hours the night it was released?

I did not, but I am not surprised.

Did you know that far too many of the old forum games are down on pages 3 & 4 with warnings that they haven't been posted in in over 180 days? Those poor games! So neglected. :(

Seriously, what has happened to that? I miss the days of posting sprees! The forum has been so quiet lately! :(

I did, and It makes me sad.

Did you know I'm lying in bed and using my iPod, having been foolishly trying to go to sleep for the past two hours?

No, I didn't. But, it seems many of us here battle with insomnia.

Did you know TSL gives us a LOT of information about the world of King's Quest, though unofficially, that would never have been told by Roberta (who wasn't particularly interested in fleshing out NPCs)?

waltzdancing

I don't know if I agree with that but it is an interesting thought.  ;)

Did you know that I dreaded teaching Kindergarteners, but am actually loving it?

Delling

No, but I can understand both sides of that.

Did you know that I can't find a way to Armagh from Galway!? :o (Consequently, I don't think I CAN go to this astronomy conference :-\ ...also, Armagh is supposedly rather pretty... so I'm missing that too :-\ (On the other hand, I wasn't really prepared to give a talk at it...))

Bummer! Didn't know that.

Did you know these letters organize top to bottom really well?:

HAL (The computer from a famous movie I never saw.)
IBM (International Business Machines, obviously.)
JCN ("Jones Computer Network" - an early name for the channel now called, "G4TV".)

Haids1987

Heyyy, you're right!

Did you know that I'm freaking out at the moment because of a ginormous arachnid I just had to help kill? GAH!

Whoa  that is a nasty spider!

Why spiders? Why can't we follow the butterflies?

Did you know... I'd like to have something like an iPhone or Droid but don't know if I could justify the cost?

That's news to me. I thought everyone had one!  ::)
If I hadn't been an American Sign Language volunteer, I probably wouldn't have an Android phone yet, either. (The HTC EVO 4G has dual cameras, and works well with Skype.)

Did you know writerlove will be busy, working on graduating from college, and not around here so often? You'll be missed!

Delling

I did.

No, I didn't. But, I feel for you.

Did you know that Pikachu's name came from two Japanese onomotopoeia(s)?
"Pika" - the sound of electric spikes.
"Chu" - the sound made by a mouse.

Hence, in Japanese onomotopoetic language, the name means, "Electric Mouse."
(It's linguistically interesting, so don't think "Poor guy - he must be developmentally delayed."  :P)

Delling

Why would we think that?

Did you know that I'm of a school of thought that "linguistically interesting" is one of the best kinds of interesting? :D :P
