Your Black Friday shift is the same one I had last year. I dunno about what you've done previous years but at GameStop, it was crazy busy when we opened and then calmed down by 3 and was dead until 8. Decent shift. I miss it.

Well, usually on Black Friday I work 11:30 pm until noon. We open at midnight, and usually it's crazy busy til about four. (It's a department store, I think people stay there longer) and then it's dead until about 10 am.

12:35 PM.  Must keep watering plants... need that Spinach in time for the Crop Festival... one more day, then I can go to sleep... turns out I can't hit bratty little Harvest Sprites with my hammer...

It's 6:14 AM. I'm really tired. I should've been programming. My alarm goes off in an hour. Bleh.

Awake at 3:25 am. I need to get to sleep.

2am! We've just finished Dark Knight Rises and eating icing.

No ball drop, but we did stay up playing video games.

We haven't had TV in ages so I can't even watch the ball drop.

The first time I watched the ball drop, I was so disappointed. I thought it would do something cool like crash and explode. It was so anti-climactic.
