Quote from: KatieHal on June 08, 2012, 06:55:51 AMWith my latest personal writing endeavor, a novel I'm working on, I've made great efforts to go in order, straight from start to finish, because that's something that's been quite hard for me, actually finishing! I'm great at getting a few chapters in, setting things up, but when the task of getting into the plot comes along is where I often falter.

You can't always self-read for the subjective stuff, but you should be able to be certain that it conforms to standard grammar (or at least to the registers you intend to use if you are using a mixture).
