Yep! And I've played all of them. They are Adventure-puzzle solving games, also point-and-click style. Very fun. My favorite is ND 10 Secret of Shadow Ranch.

You should play them...it'd be hours of fun and frustration! lol Especially since you've apearently got 22 games to catch up on! lol

I'm waiting for ND 23 to release on Oct 19th!

I have played all 22 games as well. In fact, over the last few months, Erik and I've been playing through them again...we've gotten through #13, Last Train to Blue Moon Canyon. We've even done the last 3 of them together. Pre-ordered Trail of a Twister, so we got that right as it came out. :) Can't wait for the next one!

Do you ever see Nancy Drew in any of these games, or are you always looking through her eyes?
So what if I am, huh? Anyways, I work better when I'm drunk. It makes me fearless! If I see a bad guy, I'll just point my sword at him and saaaaaaaaaay, "Hey! Bad guy! You're not s'posed to be here! Go home or I'll stick you with my sword 'til you go, 'Ouch! I'm dead!' Ah-ha-ha!" Ha-ha. *hic* See? Ain't no one gonna be messin' wit' ol', Benny!

Yeah, I just got done with ToT. The next one is going to be...something. I've already done some research on it and found out that it's based on the book the 13th Pearl.
ND, and Bess and George are all in Tokyo, al expenses paid by P.G.
It has something to do with a stolen pearl necklace that ND is asked to recover.
She even infiltrates a group called "pearl worshipers" and learns that some of them are dangerous and crooked. And these people work for a big international jewelry company.
That's what the book was anyways...

Nope, it's always first person view, and when people take pictures of Nancy, there's always some reason you can never see her face, thumb over lens, camera flash, ect.

I think that HerInteractive does that so that ND is the face of whoever is playing. They'll never show her face.

Hey KoKo, on the HER forums I've been petitioning for Nancy to go to Greece. I'm collecting sigs for it.

See, here's my plot suggestion:

The culprit had read an ancient scripture about finding a pouch full of ancient Drachma coins (among other gems and jewelry) that was supposedly left by the Gods for someone who was worthy to find it. They were trying to restore their faith in man, and left clues for the lucky person with wit and enough brawn to figure out their cryptic puzzles. If real, the pouch would be worth a fortune today.
While trying to figure out where the treasure might be, and keeping with the "Greek" theme, the culprit is going undercover in the night as Medusa. If anyone "sees" the culprit in action, a cold, gray statue is the only thing left of them left where they last stood to be found the next morning; appearing that they have completely turned to stone (but unknownst to us that they are actually being kidnapped).
The culprit also leaves a note on the "statue" stating that unless the rest of the townspeople wishes to be turned to stone, they would stay away, giving the culprit a chance to look for the coins without prying eyes.
But appearently, they don't know Nancy Drew!
Could the ancient scripture be telling of unfounded treasures of a time long forgotten?
Or could this just be another myth?
Nancy must solve an ancient mystery using nothing but her wits and recover the treasure before the whole city of Crete is turned to stone!
It's up to you as Nancy Drew!

If Nancy went to Crete, Greece; could you imagine the game play?

The beautiful, warm sunshine blanketing the sloping geography of Crete overlooking the ocean...

All the gray stone statues of Gods and Goddess' of ancient greek mythology past with hidden clues carved into them?

The white marble temples and buildings made of a different time in history...what secrets they could hold etched in their floors or walls...

The ancient myths and stories of all the Gods and Goddess'....Athena (Goddess of War), Zeus (God of the Sky and Weather), Hercules (Hero, son of Zeus), Hermes (Messanger for the Gods), Aphrodite (Goddess of Love and Beauty), Poseidon (God of the Seas) ...could you imagine all the puzzles?

The ancient Greek maps that were used centuries ago may hold a path to ruins long forgotten by the modern world...

Since Greece is made up of many islands, maybe we would have to use Greek astronomy and zodiac to navigate to certain islands with our ancient map to uncover our ancient ruins...?

To earn money (Euros)...Maybe we can convince a street vendor to let us make Greek Salads for hungry tourists...Spinach, Olives, Tomatoes, Red Onions, Cucumbers, Bell Peppers, Feta Cheese, Beets, Vinegar and Olive oil...A lot to choose from, and a lot of different salad combinations for our customers....

Ooooh, and maybe we can buy all kinds of things..like baklava! Mmm yummy. lol Or like in Shadow ranch, where we had to bake a cake for Tex, or in Danger by Design where we had to make Chocochip mint cookies for JJ...maybe we would have to make Baklava for someone or for an event as one of our puzzles...and we make Greek salads just for money..

That way, we still do a little cooking/baking or whatever and that is a "Have to" in the game to progress, and only when we need money we have to make Greek salads...but we're not REQUIRED to do repetetive cooking like in ICE. You only make salads whenever you need money.

Cool, thanks.
The reason I asked is because I saw a box cover (I think) that had a picture of a young, black girl with dreads on it. No offense meant to any black people, but it would just feel awkward playing a Nancy Drew who isn't the blonde-haired blue-eyed Nancy Drew I'm familiar with.
So, if you never see her face, then she can look any way you want, and hence the problem is solved. :)

Hm, I don't remember any covers having that on them...the only one that would maybe have that on the inside flap would be The Final Scene. Usually the box covers have something related to the title on them.

Ah, it wasn't box art, it was the picture for the Nancy Drew Dossier section of Himalaya Studios' website. Clicky.

I think it's cool they remastered SCK. But I don't know if I'll get it right away because even though they've updated graphics and changed a few puzzles, the outcome is more or less the same.

I'll eventually get it...but I don't think I'm gonna rush out to buy it like the new ones.

Ahh, I don't generally play the Dossier series. It reminds me too much of the "hidden item" games.
