So if you can steal enough supplies,
and sneak past the guards,
and if you can get over the fence...

maybe you're ready for...

The tales of H.P. Lovecraft are timeless for those who enjoy a good horror story. And with good reason. His stories have inspired generations that have come after him just as Edgar Allan Poe had influenced his writing. Delving into many aspects of what makes a person lose their mind and drawing from their deepest, darkest fears is what brings people back to classics like the Cthulhu Mythos. And the latest game to tackle these themes is The Eldritch Cases: Dagon, an adventure game that sets its sights on one of the most iconic villages ever put to pen by the seminal author.

I love adventure games, especially when they do something different with the art or story. A Song for Viggo tries a bit of both.

Hi guys wanted to let you know about a kickstarter project I am working on with some friends.

Over the past three years me and some friends were working on a RTS fan tribute remake of the old RTS Netstorm Island at war in the Unity engine, our fan project caught the attention of the original developers who made the first game and they helped us approach Activision about making it into an official Netstorm II, but Activision was not interested in seeing it developed further under the old IP, but we had the option of dropping the old IP and setting the game in a new world and IP just with same gameplay mechanics as in old game of warring priests and floating islands with bridging.

We went with the second option and switched to a new IP and game world, we are working with the original dev team now on creating the new art direction for the world with Morgan Ogburn and Beverly Garland helping on the art side, also the one developer Jim Greer that launched Kongregate games kicked has kicked in 10k to our kickstarter we have also gotten a boost from Tripwire interactive on our kickstarter we are currently at 12,603$ on our kickstarter, trying desperately to reach 40k so we can reach our 50k goal,if there are any old time Netstorm players here I hope you will check out our reboot of gameplay style and consider backing us and push so we can launch further full development of DOTS..

QuoteDisciples of the Storm (DOTS) is a unique, fast-paced, real-time-strategy game which will have some elements of role playing. DOTS game play takes place on the world of Sonus, shattered by a continuous war among the Tempests of Rain, Wind, and Thunder. The only refuge is on floating islands of the planet's fractured crust, suspended in the winds of perpetual gales. As the High Priest of your tribe, you must align yourself with one of the Tempests to appease their lust for battle and gain their favor by sacrificing your enemies. Victory will grant you new technology and spells that will aid your tribe in ascending from the storm to the safe heavens above.

Hello all, this is Nathan from Storm Isle Productions last year we attempted to do a kickstarter that we had posted about on here at the time, but due to time and just coming out from switching IP we did not have much to show of other own content, our studio has been working over the past year on a slew of new content from unit designs and buildings to help showcase the direction we are moving in for our RTS game that is an inspired reboot of the gameplay style seen in the old RTS classic netstorm islands at war but set in a strictly new game world and IP that we have been creating with help from some of the team that worked on the old Netstorm.

We hope people will check out our kickstarter and look at the new content we have produced help us spread the word.

Disciples Of The Storm (DOTS) is a unique, fast paced Real Time Strategy (RTS) game set in the fantasy world of Sonus where an ancient feud between the deities, known as Tempests, have torn the world apart leaving little more than raging storms below and skies filled with floating remnant of islands where the people of Sonus now live. The four factions of rain, wind, sun and thunder must battle to survive in this harsh climate gathering resources and gain favor from the Tempests.

Build your temples and workshops to unlock units to wage war on your enemies and capture and offer up enemy high priests to gain favor with the deities.

With a unique bridging mechanic system that allows players to deploy networks of bridges to link islands along with a multitude of unique faction unit types combining elements of Tower Defense meets active Tower Offense.

  • New IP, New World Art: As a top-to-bottom concept reboot, Disciples of the Storm uses a new IP for long-term stability and to avoid confusion with the the old game NetStorm. Disciples of the Storm takes place in an entirely new world with redesigned units, spells and effects.

The factions of the Tempest: DOTS features 4 playable factions with the factions of Wind, Rain, Thunder and Sun. With each side having close to 12 unit types each, along with faction neutral buildings that can be constructed.

Fast Paced Game Play: Fast pace game play but easy to learn focuses on capturing and holding islands with control of paths through islands as vital to victory.

Bridging system: DOTS features a custom unique bridging and placement system which allows placement of different bridge types allowing for construction of bridge networks to support both resource collection and expanding the battle front.

Bridges not only act as pathway for resource collectors to move over the void of open air but also provide locations from which defense and attack units can be constructed off the end of bridge sections

DOTS use of different static defense and attack units with the ability to be built linked off side of bridge ends allow for construction both on islands and out over the void of the sky. DOTS attack and defense units although static and do not move each have their own ability and power which gives a tower defense meets tower offense mode.

Random Map Generation: DOTS feature on the fly map generation for both island generation in island shapes and with placement of islands and resources allowing for each multiplayer game to be unique.

Multi-platform support: DOTS supports running on Windows, Linux and Mac.
