Ok, what are your thoughts? Who is the cloaked stranger? I'm really interested in knowing who you think it is!

And this is the guy that we find at the
Ali's bookshop scene
and at the
last cut scene after Graham's dream
. Are they one and the same? Are they two different? I really don't know!

The one in Ali's Bookshop Store is the Genie Spying on Alixander.  :P

The one standing at the Window at the Isle of Mists is Edgar Spying on Graham.  ::)

Well, I'm going out on a limb, so forgive me if I am missing something.

Back when the game was called Every Cloak Has a Silver Lining, I was wondering why a game about the Black Cloak Society had such a name. Then I saw the ending cutscene from Episode 1 and saw an interesting image. It showed a wizard in a black cloak and a wizard in a white cloak charging at each other. Then I started thinking about the former name of the game: Every Cloak Has a Silver Lining. I'm assuming the white cloaks are actually silver cloaks. I started to refer to the mysterious character as the Silver Cloaked Man. I may be wrong here, but it just seems like the Silver Cloak Society needs the help of the royal family. Maybe the family are descendants of the Silver Cloaks, and they need to help the other Silver Cloaks take on Shadrack. This is just my theory, but this is what I got out of the last cutscene.

What makes you think it's the Genie and/or Edgar?

I misread when Koko meant the Stranger Outside the Bookstore and got Confused with something else.  :P

Well it seems like Edgar.  ;D

KatieHal

Haha, okay, but what about him seems like Edgar to you?

Does this mean he's on to something?  :o

It's probably because Edgar wanted to go with Graham, but Graham was like, "NO!!!". So Edgar puts a cape on, and follows Graham around. Am I right?

??? He's sneaking around and not being himself! Very KQ4 Edgar... I mean sure his skin's not green but that gets old after a while. *rimshot*

...honestly, though, it could be that Edgar showed an interest in coming along and got turned down. That could imply that he might tag along in disguise anyway.

Haha, I almost added to my last post something to the effect of , "Not that I'm going to confirm or deny anyone's guesses" :) I'm just trying to find out why Daventry thinks it's Edgar! If someone says they think it's King Otar I'd be asking why they thought that too. :)

It's torture. You could be pulling us along to get us to think it's Edgar, and then it'll be somebody else. Placing my bets now: it's King Otar!

KatieHal

OR is it a trick question because for most of KQ7 Edgar WAS King Otar???  :suffer:

Now that you mention it, I think I'll just wait for Episode 2 to come out.  ::)

Or it could be a character we haven't met yet. It could be someone the POS team is going to introduce. I don't know.

I agree. I'm sticking with my original comment about him being from the Silver Cloak Society.

You may be on to something here. I remember how the Arch Druid says that there is more at stake than just Graham's children, referencing some timeless battle between good and evil.

If its Edgar, its also possible he is a member of the SCS, lol.
Well, ya, King's Quest is on Earth. Daventry is very old city from a long time ago. It's in ruins now and people aren't quite sure exactly where it used to be. There are some archaeologists searching through the ruins, they think they know its Daventry. But its somewhere on Earth."-Roberta Williams http://kingsquest.wikia.com/wiki/File:Daventryisearth.ogg
