Well... I didn't squeal... but I did think it was AWESOME! :D (I may have thought: "OMG KEN WILLIAMS POSTED ON THE FORUM!!" (all-caps may have been involved in my head as well))

Should I go make dinner or should I just crash out? *is totally wrecked from TKD*

I'm not sure, Hands. If I could cry, I'd have been crying every day this month. Are you ok?

What's your fave RPG?

What the... ... what do you mean "if you could cry"? I can only surmise 3 possibilities: 1) you are a robot, 2) your tearducts were destroyed in some terrible industrial accident! :o, or 3) it's some sort of misguided machismo "I'm a guy; guys don't cry" thing. ::)

As for my favorite RPG, at the moment it's a toss-up between the Valkyrie Profile series, DDO, or Wild ARMs... but DDO really only competes when I'm about to level. ;P

As for my question: which of those three things do you think it is with DawsonJ? 1, 2, or 3?

I can think of another possibility. Anti-depressants can sometimes have that effect. I'm going with that.

When do you think Episode 4 will be released? :suffer:

DawsonJ

I think Episode 4 will be released sometime this fall.

Snabbott, thanks for the save. Seriously, it takes a lot for me to cry because of years of abuse. I have friends in the same situation - it takes a LOT to cry, just out of survival, not to be "Macho."

What do you think the Improved Cedric System will be like in Kingdom of Sorrow?

Back to the questions!

What are your thoughts about the Improved Cedric System?

Aww... μεν...ok, I was kidding!! (hopefully that was clear from the options I presented and I'm just being reactionary ::))...because I thought the juxtaposition of my comment to Haids and his was funny... (also, because I wasn't entirely sure if the "every day this month" was sarcastic hyperbole or not)

...δε... really? It takes like nothing for me to cry thanks to my years of abuse. (no, this time: I am not kidding; well, to clarify, I don't cry openly. So, I get your survival point, but... in hac via non ambulamus... we are not walking this way (I am not going into more detail.))

Doing that remotely (from Wisconsin to Switzerland) might pose a bit of a challenge. I don't think I'm up for that. :P

Which language is more like Latin? Italian or Sardinian?

Delling

Due to phonological shifts, neither is actually that close to Classical Latin any more. I would argue that the external influences on Sardinian have caused it to diverge from any Latin origins moreso than Italian. (Latin was seeded in Sardinia by conquest. The native Italic dialect, already heavily influenced by other geographically extant languages, was never fully supplanted by Latin; by contrast, Italian in part developed from Latin in situ (that is via dialectic decay as opposed to the usual combination of dialectic diffusion (cf. the Germanic languages) together with dialectic decay and the effects of language contact (cf. the Germanic and Celtic elements of French). While Italian is not immune to these effects, it's substratum is more purely Latinate than that of Sardinian.)
