Definitely, if you like black and whites.
So what if I am, huh? Anyways, I work better when I'm drunk. It makes me fearless! If I see a bad guy, I'll just point my sword at him and saaaaaaaaaay, "Hey! Bad guy! You're not s'posed to be here! Go home or I'll stick you with my sword 'til you go, 'Ouch! I'm dead!' Ah-ha-ha!" Ha-ha. *hic* See? Ain't no one gonna be messin' wit' ol', Benny!

Why hasn't anyone mentioned The Matrix yet? What's wrong with us?

The original Matrix was actually pretty awesome, and kind of a mindf***.  The rest of the trilogy was pretty terrible though, and one of the most blatant attempts to cash in on the success of a one-off movie by expanding it into a trilogy that I've ever seen.  Really awful, especially since the first movie resolved itself perfectly and tied up all loose ends.  Sigh...the rest of the trilogy makes the first one seem worse in retrospect, but if you watch it by itself on its own merits and forget about the sequels, it's a great film.

Agreed, but still, you can't deny that Reloaded's freeway and chateau scenes are good fun to watch.

Citizen Kane.

I love Citizen Kane, though it's not my number one favourite film of all time. Still, I applaud your taste.

Heard joke once: Man goes to doctor. Says he's depressed. Says life seems harsh and cruel. Says he feels all alone in a threatening world where what lies ahead is vague and uncertain. Doctor says "Treatment is simple. Great clown Pagliacci is in town tonight. Go and see him. That should pick you up." Man bursts into tears. Says "But Doctor...I am Pagliacci." Good joke. Everybody laugh. Roll on snare drum. Curtains.

"The Happening" with Mark Wahlberg.  That movie just blew my mind it was so amazing!  INCREDIBLE!   ;D ;D ;D

FataliOmega

In no particular order, and not including LOTR because it was already mentioned:

Casablanca.

Big Trouble in Little China.

The Fugitive.

Fiddler on the Roof.

As for the Matrix, I can't say I cared for, or agreed with, it's premise. Reloaded was more fun. The many-Smith battle was great! :-)

I don't debate, I ramble with STYLE!

I love Casablanca.  "Play it again, Sam..."

I can't believe I forgot to mention Who Framed Roger Rabbit!  That movie is DEFINITELY on my top five!  "Patty-cake, patty-cake!"

Aliens (1986)

Ooh...good one.  I recently went all over town looking for a copy on DVD because I saw a snippet of it on TV before I had to leave for work.  It was so worth it when I finally got it.  :)

Aliens special edition DVD is the way to go.  But yea, I can seriously watch this film all the time and not get bored. The atmosphere they created was incredible.  Predator as well, Terminator, but really Aliens was my favorite.  The AVP games were good too.  I remember when the Aliens TC patch came out for the original doom, classic.  The only Aliens decision I regret was buying an Atari Jaguar for the first AVP game. Great concept, but it wasnt very good.  They should have stopped with the whole Aliens franchise after the second one, kept its dignity.

Special edition Aliens is definitely where it's at.  It's an incredible sci-fi/action film (and just an all around great film anyway) but the special edition adds in scenes that were taken out and actually work well with the movie.  Not like the special edition of Alien, where I didn't feel the restored scenes really added anything major, or detracted from the tension that was already built.

Also, Alien 3 special edition is definitely worth a look.  You get over half an hour of restored footage that actually improves the film.  It's the closest thing to the director's vision you can get (seeing as how the director basically disowned the film and the studio butchered it.)  The special edition takes what was an unfortunate, mediocre film, and shows what it could have been.  While it's still flawed, it is much improved and actually pretty good.

Of course no amount of special edition or director's cuts can save Alien Resurrection.  That film never should have been made.  And AVP is just a crime against humanity.  Aliens are so much better than Predators!  Who actually thought that those two should be teamed up together!  It would be like saying Abraham Lincoln and Millard Fillmore would have been the dream team of presidents!  I mean, come on!  But I digress...  Anyway, I'll always see the Alien films as a trilogy.  Everything else was unfortunate.  But yeah...special editions are the way to go for Aliens and Alien 3.
