How could a Mac version just simply not exist?  Call this a troll thread or whatever you want, I just wanted to voice my opinion of how badly that really sucks.

We don't have an official Mac version, but a good number of people have been able to run it on a Mac by using a Windows emulator. You could definitely get help & advice on how to play it that way on the forums here. :)

If you can get a copy of Windows XP, Vista, or 7, you can use Boot Camp with 100% success.

Atec's method is probably better than Boot Camp for running just one application. Plus it's free, right?

100 percent free, opensource, and supported by me.

keep in mind, however, the mac version of the software needed (wine) is not officially supported to my knowledge.

on linux it is.  I am the maintainer of the project though, so I am your "official" linux support as well as your "unofficial" mac support.

it runs beautifully on my computer with arch linux.

edit: after you try it out, could you pretty please post your results in my thread after playing the game all the way through?  you are the first person to try it on a mac!
also post if you have any problems on the way.
also, just for clarification: Wine Is Not An Emulator, and that is why it will work better than boot camp/vpc.  you don't have the bloat of windows.  you just run it (TSL) as a mac application.  Wine translates it into a mac application basically.

That's frickin' awesome. Kudos! Mad props! And any other cliches you can think of.

I'm playing TSL on my PC, but I may have to try out this Wine stuff.

Ooh...somehow I missed this.  I've been wanting to be able to use my Mac for this (as my Windows laptop is old and not able to properly run TSL.)

Try it and let me know how it works!  I am yet to hear from any mac users about how it works.  It should work just fine but I just want some people trying it.

No worries.  I am planning on doing this first thing when I get home from work in an hour or two.  :)

great!  post it up in my thread about it.  also if you have any problems let me know and while I don't use a mac, the software is pretty much universal as far as I know, and most if the problems and solutions should be exactly the same.

Well here's some news from the Mac front...not good for now unfortunately, but I'm sure I'm doing something wrong with this Wine program, it's a bit complicated for me so I might need some more assistance.
