Yay! I was happy we got to include some articles but wasn't sure many people would notice it. :)

This isn't technically an easter egg, but it's part of an egg, and it made me feel warm and fuzzy and reminded me of my childhood.  So when you find the suffer, you can look at it in your inventory and it laughs.  That laughter is the exact same as this weird little laughing fuzzy monster toy my parents had when I was young.  You'd shake it, and this long stream of laughter would start, ending with the laughter you hear the suffer emitting.

Like I said, not really an easter egg, but that laughter was taken from something that led to a lot of nostalgia for me.  I wonder where that toy is now?  Probably packed away in a basement somewhere...

Yay! I was wondering if people had heard them at all or not. :)

They're all voiced by team members; the French guard dog is Richard Houle, one of our programmers.

My guard dog will come along in a later episode, I can't wait!

Does that mean we will be seeing female guard dogs in the castle?

It's a female guard dog, but you'd best not call her the b-word ;)

If she's a guard dog at the Castle of the Crown, I don't know who in their right mind would even want to attempt that.  :P

You guys ever think of actually trying to hide some of these "easter eggs?"  One-click actions like looking at part of the scenery or picking up water aren't exactly obscure.  And I don't think most players are going to appreciate 4-minute long fourth-wall breaking tirades when they accidentally do one of these oh-so-obscure actions.  Unless they are already TSL groupies, I mean.   ::)

"look in rock" isn't very difficult either.

And if you don't want to watch it, you can click through the dialogue and be done with it in less than ten seconds.  Finding the suffer was far from a one-click action.

No, you're right.  The hidden suffer was pretty good.  Right on the mark, I'd say.  I always just thought things like messages from the developers (particularly long spoken ones) should be the stuff of very obscure eggs.  That one was practically right out in the open.  I think breaking the fourth wall via easter eggs is fine and dandy.  :)  But if it's not hidden well, it loses its appropriateness, in my opinion.

It's just another of those things that's entirely opinion-based.  Plenty of people who found the Suffer didn't know about the Easter Egg at the shoreline on the Isle of Wonder, and vice versa.  It just depends on how you play and whether you stumble across it or not.

Now come on... Who in their right mind would go and pick up water without a container? Clearly someone who is not looking for a sensible answer, in other words an easter egg.  ;D

She wouldn't take it as an offense, anyway, she's a she-dog.
