Download only took me 20 minutes...the install is taking AGES

I think i found a problem trying to download this game under Mozilla Firefox using flashgot it is to slow says it will be about another 12 hours to download.
So i had to quit the download use internet explorer to be able to use flashget now it is more like it only 45 minutes.
Just thought you like to know about this and wondering if anybody else had this problem.
Hope this slow time is fixed for episode 3 because i like using Mozilla Firefox instead of internet explorer.

It's also possible you just hit a mirror that's pretty busy at the moment.

I get a msvcp100.dll missing dll error at startup of the game under win7.
It still runs though, but may crash latter on.

I run Win7x64 bit and don't even have that file on my computer, so no idea why you ran into that problem - it's not part of the game though.

Yep it crashed, when I alt-tabbed to the desktop, then back to the game the error msgbox reappeared then tsl.exe died. I saved before, good thing.

Yup. Alt-tabbing crashes the game.

That's odd - Alt+Tab shouldn't crash the game (I do it all the time), are you guys both playing on regular Windows PCs or dual-booting on a Mac or anything?

Great tesspoon, we are all glad you love it.  I was very impressed myself the first time I played it and that was even before it looked all spiffy and polished.  I've played it so many times that I'm too sick of it right now to get into it so i'm gonna mess around with the next episode soon.  I would definitely recommend multiple playthroughs though.... there is just so much to experience in this game and you are very likely to not experience everything playing through the first time.

Alt-tabbing didn't crash it for me but it did mess up the druid scroll. I use XP Pro. Perhaps make a sticky in the tech support forum on the issue instead of discussing it here?

Ah yes Rudy, thanks for noting that, I'm going to go add that to the tech FAQ right this second.  It's actually a known issue with tabbing out and back in during specific points in the game.

Yeah, multiple playthroughs is really kind of a good idea. It took me several playthroughs to find a lot of things, and there's still more for me to find! If you can find everything on a single playthrough, I will personally hand you 50 US dollars. Ok, not really, but you get the idea...
