Hole in the Wall was one of my favorites and the Mag Gnat as well.  The French guard dog is also quite funny.

My part is when Graham leaves Jollo, "Please don't abandon me!" My sister and I say it to each other when one of us has to leave when we are playing or testing an episode. Our mother gives us weird looks.

Haha, that was a well-delivered line.
After taking back Cassima's necklace from the sea nymphs, don't give them anything and ask Hassan to get ready to sail. Then the nymphs get mad and pull Graham down, Hassan and his first mate try to pull Graham back but Hassan's first mate gets "distracted" and Graham gets sunk.
Has anyone tried this? This was one of my favorites, although all the deaths of King Graham are my favorites (not because he dies   :( , but because it shows the innovation of the design team and the death messages are fun to read  :) )
"Be kind to this gentle land, be open-hearted to her whimsy, and protect her, if you can, from the harsh winds which might wish to blow in from the sea to steal her soul.  She is unlike any place I have ever seen, and she has stolen my heart."

I never died there. I'm gonna have to go back and take a look at that, sounds fun.

colin

Yeah I thought that was my favourite death, as well, especially
when after graham falls in the water hassan says " I suppose if you have to go that's the way you want to go" I thought that was funny.
I also loved
Alexanders dream sequence and the ranger scene.
I also liked simple things like when
looking at the berrries in the garden, on the isle of wonder, you get wonderful insights into the royal family that you never knew before.
Actually I pretty much liked everything about this episode.

You mean tomatoes?

I think he means the grapes.
There is long story that gets told about the grapes if you look at them. Which is one that Cesar and I argued incessantly over! LOL, and which lead to my editing another description in the garden to the Narrator cutting Graham off before he could go on and on about something else!
I loved basically everything that was mentionned in this thread. I also laugh each time that
the red and white knight start arguing "Yes it is! Is not! Yes, it IS! Is not! It IS! Is not!..." and then Graham casually walking past them :). If you go back to Chessboard Land, they're STILL going on like that.
My favorite episode 2 moment was probably the whole Jollo bit, particularly the fake arm gag.  I also liked the mystery being hinted at with the fading maps.  The cutscene camera work was pretty great too, particularly the underwater nymph shot and the bird's eye henge pan in the intro.  Hassan's salty seafaring banter was a nice touch as well.  All in all, there where were a lot of little details that stuck out throughout the production that put a smile on my face, even if a few other bits annoyed me at the same time.  :)

Yeah, the sea nymph animation in general was very well done. And I had forgotten about the disappearing ink thing. I guess that explains why the ink in the note on the door of the Pawn Shoppe disappeared in Episode 1, right? Though we still don't know why it's happening...

Actually the entire note disappeared, not just the ink. Another mystery  ;D

Not really a moment but I cracked up when I saw the Queens' guillotine.

I (finally) just finished Episode 2, and I gotta say, my all-around favorite part was the conversation with Edgar.  It was so insightful, and it really made you think a lot about things that never crossed your mind before.  I really enjoyed every moment of that dialogue.

It also made me laugh listening to the background noises in the garden on the Isle of Wonder.  A steaming teapot combined with a squeaky toy, a banjo, a cow, and animal grunts?  I stood there until I heard them all!

And I musn't exclude the four mouths thing.  Oh em freaking gee. ;)

Was wondering when we'd get to hear your thoughts on it! :D

Loved the Edgar conversation as well - things like that are part of why I love this game so much. :)

You're so sweet, Tess. :)

You're right, getting to know the characters better is one of the best parts of this game.  I know some people don't like the long stories and how long the dialogue is, but I love it.  It makes the characters more alive and makes the story feel more complete.  Plus, I really like the voice actor for Edgar.
